We lost a special father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother today. My father in law loved the dogs and enjoyed spending time with the puppies, cuddling and loving on them. He was always willing to help out…even picked up p**p!! He always had a ready smile and a nod for everyone he met. 94 years of a life well lived. We will miss you dad!

I just can’t stress enough the importance of avoiding monthly flea and deworming treatments. Use only if absolutely necessary and only for a month. Most dogs don’t need them and it’s not worth poisoning your dog “just in case!”

It's hard for me to keep up as they keep coming out with these poisons. The vets have been warned by the FDA about the neurological/seizure disorders associated with Bravecto. NOW, they have a once-a-year injectable Bravecto that kills fleas for one year and will soon be introduced into the US. You never want to inject your dog with a long-acting substance. If they have a reaction to it...it's in there for a YEAR! I'm putting the information down below!

Puppy therapy: beneficial for pups and people

For people who get to pet and cuddle pups, the experience can lower blood pressure, increase oxytocin levels (feel good hormones) and decrease stress levels. Petting pups can help calm the mind and provide a distraction for pain.

Taking puppies to these events give the puppies a variety of valuable experiences: grooming before events, crate time and travelling in a car, meeting a variety of people in a variety of settings so they learn to have positive interactions

Puppy therapy is a win for participants, a win for puppies and a win for future families of one of our pups.

We love getting updates from our puppy families. Shannon shares this about her new girl from the Mini/Kaiser litter - Thought I would send you a quick update on Eden. We decided to name her Willow. Your videos,tips and puppy schedule have been followed to a T, and are greatly appreciated. Her training shines through in every way and has made her transition into our lives a wonderful experience. She's a beautiful little lady who has already brought much joy to our family. I'd like to sincerely thank you for an amazing experience with you.
