About Us Walkabout Pups is a dog walking service that is dedicated to the care and welfare of dogs.

We ensure dogs receive adequate physical and mental stimulation. This is essential to the health and welfare of dogs everywhere. Without adequate exercise dogs can develop behavioural and weight problems. We recommend at least twice weekly walks to ensure your dog stays in great mental and physical condition. Walkabout Pups is different from other walking services because it is owned and operated

by a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with over 7 years clinical experience in general and emergency practice. This means your dog is in great hands and should an emergency occur, we will know how to handle the situation.

Today Blue crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her brother. Blue girl was the last of my OG crew from when I first started the business. She transformed from a young crazy girl to a sweet, slow only lady. She was such a trooper and loved coming out on her walks even when she started with arthritis. Saying goodbye to her broke my heart but she is free and pain free now. I know Charlie was waiting for her and is so excited to have his big sister back with him. I will always cherish the 12 years we had together. Her parents have become family and watching them lose Charlie and now Blue in a span of 2 months has been tragic. Thank you Jen and Kelly for letting me love your babies like they were my own. I will never forget you Blue, your stubborn and independent nature was truly a sight to see. RIP big girl, until we meet again 💔

My dearest Charlie, Charles, Char Char, Charlie Barley, today was an incredibly difficult day. Today we said goodbye to this sweet boy. I have walked Charlie for almost 12 years. He was with me from the beginning while I was building the business. He started as a young, hyperactive 1 year old and slowly transitioned into a sweet, calm old man. He taught all the younguns the ropes and taught them to respect their elders. He loved to bring rocks up from the bottom of the creek, to chase sticks and hog any balls we found. Charlie was the best boy and I will miss seeing him every workday. I love you Charles, please know you were loved beyond measure. My thoughts are with his family and his sister, Blue, as they deal with tremendous loss. Rest easy, sweet boy 💔

To Oakley, I may not have walked you in 4 years after you moved away, but you always held a special place in my heart and I kept in touch with your parents over the years. You were one of the OG crew when I started the business. You taught me so much and will always be apart of my heart. Today, you left this earth to join your kitty sister over Rainbow Bridge. You were so loved and had the BEST parents. You always found some way to injure yourself or roll in stinky things. You always made me laugh by lick attacking me when I tied my shoes or running into my legs with sticks that were way too big to run with. My heart is heavy today. RIP Oakley MaGoakley. I will never forget you ❤️
