MBVIS MBPIS MAOM BIS NBISS Can Am Ch Can Am GCh Can GChX Bearspaw Sampo, RN, TT, HIC, "Odin." 2010-June-10 to 2024-December-2 has crossed the rainbow bridge. He died suddenly and peacefully in his sleep. His pack treasured every moment with him, and we miss him greatly.

Major changes in our screening process are here. We are compiling a list for our first Info Session. Attending an Info Session is a requirement if you want to be on our waiting list (and aren't already). It is also open to people currently on the waitinglist. It is a way to learn about the breed and about our breeding programme before you consider applying. If you are interested in being on the Info Session contact list, fill out the contact form at www.bearspawlappies.ca. The Session will be held on Zoom, and run periodically when we have a long enough list of interested people.

If you are already on our list, you are also welcome to attend an Information Session, but are not required. All of Bearspaw Finnish Lapphund's breeding program are Finnish Imports or their descendents. We work collaboratively with breeders in Finland and elsewhere in Europe to keep the breed sustainable, happy, and healthy.
