Wow! Just Wow! What can I say about this weekend???
An absolutely inspiring weekend with this group. I am so very proud of each and every one of you!! ♡ My heart is full ♡ Your dedication, your true horsemanship and the support you provided to your horse companions and to each other during this three day, jammed packed clinic stills leaves me in awe. What am amazing bunch of humans.
Thank you always to Lorie Duff for your wisdom, your kind and gentle approach to communicating with our equine partners and your genuine dedication to preserving the soul and the heart of these beautiful creatures thru reassurance and respect. You inspire so many and we dearly appreciate you.
Thank you to Ashley Coffin and her "Big Red" for transporting and returning some of our members ;) You are a true gem.
Thank you all for the memories. Wishing you further success with your beautiful animals. I miss you all already!

Well....where do I start? What an amazing weekend with some amazing people and beautiful horses this past weekend at our Lorie Duff Horsemanship Clinic ~ Brier Equestrian & Wellness Center Nova Scotia. Thank you to all for spending the weekend with us. So wonderful to see each other supporting one another- cheering another on while building new friendships. Just an amazing group of people!!!! A true pleasure having you all!!! Thank you so much also to Lorie Duff for your gentle guidance in helping us all build upon a deeper, loving and healthy relationship with our Equine partners. I am sure I can speak of this on behalf of our horses as well.
I look forward to seeing you all again!!!

A huge high five to all our participants, horses and spectators who attended the Travis Smith Clinic this past weekend at Brier Equestrian & Wellness Centre. Travis' diversity in his training and teaching skills provides any horse, rider or spectator of any discipline a learning and memorable experience. All should be very proud of your "wins" this weekend. It was a pleasure having you all. See you again real soon at the Brier ;)
Had I not been so involved in watching and listening, I would have some pictures and less videos ;). Another lesson learned.

A huge thank you to the DOT for their response to a single request for additional signage at Brier Equestrian and Wellness Centre and along Fenwick's winding roads. Of all who know us and where we are located, there is a sharp turn just beyond our driveways. The driveways to which our barn crew cross on horse back to access the many trails. Luckily the drivers that have spun off the road around this turn in the winter and those that speed along this road and off the road not able to commit to the turn, have not been seriously hurt. Amongst these worries is the safety of our barn crew and their beloved animals, that on horseback, cross this road just beyond a blind sharp turn and in any instances vehicles may not see them until....well let's not even think of that.
I send out this huge appreciation to the crew that approved this request and for those that acted quickly to help us maintain a safer environment for our boarders, our horses, our community and drivers. Stay Safe All.

As we are all aware of the current and ever-changing times as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we want to assure you that the health and safety of everyone in this facility is central to what we do. In saying this, please be advised that, at current, only Brier Equestrian & Wellness Center boarders and staff are permitted entry into this facility.
Our horse community will be following strict protocols in maintaining their health and safety around themselves and their extended equine family.

Brier wishes all strength during this time and look forward to opening our doors soon to create new memories in this near future.

For the health and welfare of our valued clients, friends, visitors, please be advised that Brier Equestrian & Wellness Center including the onsite spa is officially closed to outside visitors. The arena and barn will not be available to rent until further notice.
Boarders are welcome but please arrange times to visit horse with minimum contact between people and refrainf from group rides to keep all safe and healthy with the least amount of contact. Extra cleaning measures have been put into place- sanitizing door handles- stall door latches etc.
Please wash your hands when entering and exiting the barn.
If you have been away or in contact with someone that has been away or either have any ill like symptoms please self isolate for 14 days and stay home however do keep me posted on how you are doing. Your horse will be well taken care of.
Be aware of others around you that may need some assistance but stay safe, look after yourself and each other. Expecting all to understand and commit to this notice as we all work through this difficult time.
