Good morning, as we open our doors to our new location today, we know we will be faced with some challenges with the phone and internet. Please be patient with us as we work hard to get these in working order. If you have a scheduled appointment please arrive at 5 Fraser street and come on in. If we are not responding to emails or calls just know that we will as soon as we are able to.
If you have an emergency please contact Huronia veterinary emergency.

We had such a great turn out at the parade this past weekend, we want to thank everyone for coming out.
In case you didn't notice, there was a hint of some exciting news from Mill Street. WE ARE MOVING!!

We want to Thank NS trailers for once again supplying the truck and trailer.

Meet our newest team member Lauren! Lauren graduated the Veterinary Assistant program at Seneca College in April of 2020 and has been working as a Veterinary Assistant since. While doing so, she decided it was time to go back to school to become a Veterinary Technician. Lauren graduated with honours at Seneca College in April of 2024 and is now studying for her VTNE exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.
She is also fear free certified.
Lauren loves spending her free time with her German Shepherd / Golden Retriever dog Milo.

We wanted to reach out to all of our clients to inform you of some incoming changes from the CDC for dogs traveling to the USA.

Starting August 1, 2024, dogs entering or returning to the United States must meet new, specific requirements regarding age, microchipping, and rabies status.

If your traveling with your pet please contact the CFIA - Canadian Food Inspection Agency to get all requirements before travel.

It's that time of year again. Parasite prevention season starts June's 1st. Most people are already preventing for fleas and ticks but check with your veterinarian to see if your pet is properly protected.

Internal parasites include: Heartworm, roundworms hookworms and tapeworms.
External parasites include: fleas, ticks
