This morning I was sleeping so soundly mom thought I was dead! Once she saw I was fine, she said my toe nails were not and it was time for a trim. So off my long nails came and I was left with tidy stompies, and some fresh greens for being good.

Fig has learned a very important skill. Being an adorable baby pays in extra snacks and lots more love and attention.

No more budgie seed for Fig. His new mix contains flax, quinoa, hemp heart, seasame seeds, chia, lentils and bee pollen. There's a lot less to sort when everything is so tasty!

I broke my hay feeder so I'm learning to cope with a big hay pile. I may be in over my head.

Mom sick an I sick of snow.

I discover Aquarium Channel. Mom say it there the whole time but I no notice until now. I like the interactive but no like that I no catch.

When I meet someone, I let them touch my shell. If I like someone, I let them touch the top of my head. If I love someone, I'm all theirs.

Mom bought a whole container of wormies and dumped them in my pen to find! I ate the first one and it was delicious! Mom told me to hunt the others over the next few days and I told her I would but I lied. I ate them all.

Did you know Fig was almost named Lentil? That's because uromastix love lentils! They are a little hard for Fig to eat right now so mom put them in water and they sprouted! Fig approves of the tasty sprout and softer lentil.

I was attacked by a rogue hibiscus! There's no way out but in.
