After a long time without one, mom put up another feeder for me. I do like to eat from a big pile but then I do like to drag it around my pen. Then without even noticing, I suddenly have p**p in my floor hay and no one wants to eat that. So I go back to the pile for new hay, drag it around, p**p on it and so on. Today was the big day. Darwin got his beak trimmed! Mom brought him to work and they had to make him a bit sleepy so his head was relaxed and would come out. It didn't take long for mom to get his beak done and soon enough he was recovering and then walking around. The next step is to get him eating and gaining weight. We hope he hasn't forgotten how to eat.

It was such a busy week, a proper beauty sleep is in order.
