Happy Halloween from Waffles Diner where our motto is "Your are what you eat"! Waffles keeps everyone happy with their favourite treats (except for Fry who wanted, well, fries). Since Fig is the baby, he got stuck doing the dishes. Everything is peachy keen in the front of the house but the kitchen is a bit chaotic.

Fig had his first evening cuddle with mom last night. She was going to wait until he got a bit bigger but found out that uromastix grow very slow. Rather than waiting until he's bigger, she decided it was more important to work on bonding while he's younger.

Mom's touching my leggies! She's touching my leggies! I don't even know what to do!

Mom bought a whole container of wormies and dumped them in my pen to find! I ate the first one and it was delicious! Mom told me to hunt the others over the next few days and I told her I would but I lied. I ate them all.

Did you know Fig was almost named Lentil? That's because uromastix love lentils! They are a little hard for Fig to eat right now so mom put them in water and they sprouted! Fig approves of the tasty sprout and softer lentil.

I was attacked by a rogue hibiscus! There's no way out but in.

I hear you whining but you can't come in.

Fig update! Fig is settling in well and learning that mom is the bringer of amazing things like food and skritches. S/he loves to eat seeds and bee pollen for treats. She also eats her salad every day. Aunt Bekki said poop should be called "figgy pudding" but we are assured it's not real pudding.
