Drool School & Resort Welcome to our page! We are pleased to offer raw food sales, training &/or boarding for your K9 friend at our countryside home just north of Sylvan Lake.

Drool school offers both boarding and training and provides a range of services that include private sessions, classes,and board and train. For a comprehensive list of our services please see our website. Jeannie is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Trainer and has been competing with and training dogs for the past 16 years. She currently resides with 4 boxers (V***n, Posh, Lucy, Legend) that she sh

ows in conformation and rally obedience. Two of her boxers also have a herding instinct title. She also spends time with her 3 human children, 2 horses, and 4 cats. Jeannie has a background in human services, obtaining her psychology diploma in 2002 and social work degree in 2004. Since then Jeannie had been seeking a way to combine her love of helping people with her desire to help and train dogs. In July 2012, Jeannie completed the Karen Pryor Certification program, graduating with distinction. This has allowed her to follow her life passion, helping owners to help their dogs! Having a background in both human and dog behavior allows Jeannie to communicate effectively with all family members; both humans and dogs are taught using effective communication tools. She strives to teach using fun and interactive methods while focusing on the dog-human bond.Jeannie trains using a positive reinforcement, science- based approach. We also offer boarding for your furry companion in a friendly, quiet, clean, and homey space. We accommodate a very limited amount of dogs at one time, allowing us to keep the quality of care at a maximum and the stress levels to a minimum. We employ a variety of techniques and tools to help ease the stress on our visitors including classical music, thundershirts, DAP spray, diffusing lavender. Our facilities include indoor/outdoor runs right off of our home so there is always someone present overnight. We have heated floors for cold winter days and air conditioning to keep our visitors cool during the summer heat, as well as a fresh air exchanger. We also maintain 5 very large outdoor run areas and another 20 acres of fenced land if your furry friend requires an extra romp (with one of us of course). During down time, we ensure that your dog has interactive toys such as puzzles and kongs to stimulate his mind. Contact us today to book an appointment to see our facilities!

Boxer Rescue Canada needs an urgent foster for these senior girls. Preferably they go together.

These two lovelies 8/9 year old girls were abandoned at a Saskatoon dog park on July 27. Saskatoon Animal Control will transfer them to us as the deem them "unadoptable" because they need some veterinary care - an expense AC doesn't have the budget for.

So....I would like to bring them to Edm/area so we can take them to our best boxer vet.

These girls are strays, we have NO HISTORY on them. They love people for sure, that's about all we know.

We have transport to Edmonton for them, we just need a safe place for them to land and get healthy.

If you've ever wanted to foster, two senior girls are perfect starter fosters ❤

If you are interesting in helping them beautiful seniors, who certainly didn't deserve the situation they find themselves in,

please fill out our application. They are urgent!

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only applications for current available dogs will be considered at this time.
