Everyone loves a snuggle from a big dog but it is important to recognize the power these breeds can have. This doesn't mean however that you have to be an exceptionally strong person to be able to handle these animals. With good training and structure even the smallest member of your household can confidently handle the dog. Just look at this 45 pound child handling a 90 pound Rottweiler.

Hello and Welcome to Mike's Mutts Dog Training and Walking Services.

My name is Michael and I have 20 years experience working with dogs in various settings on a volunteer basis. I also have a background in behaviour therapy to help understand not only my clients but their humans as well. I work with all breeds and have experience working with reactive animals.
I am always looking to expand my professional knowledge and learn new techniques and approaches to training so that I can be as effective as possible while putting the least amount of stress on the dog. My training programs are tailored to each client and and I always strive to use the least intrusive method that's effective.
