Welcome to our Cookie Family 🍪

Sesame is a cookie. Don’t argue. Look it up.

Little Debbie (45 lbs, 1.5 years old) is presumed to have had an elicit love affair with our guy Sesame (40 lbs, 1.5 years old). Shortly after, Sesame fled the scene, and Little Debbie found herself expecting… six little cookies.

Introducing the crumbs:
Snicker & Doodle (females)
Dunkaroo, Milano, Macaron & Graham (males)

A perfectly medium-sized cookie assortment for those not looking for a jumbo cookie.

As mentioned in a previous post, we did not make it to Maury, so paternity remains unconfirmed. However, based on strong circumstantial evidence and vibes we’ve drawn our own conclusions.

On a completely related topic. PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS. Maury is expensive and we’re tired.

Looking for a medium sized dog who loves everyone? Meet Harper 🐾

Harper is a 1.5-year-old, 40 lb sweetheart who is still settling into foster life, and already stealing hearts.

She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and is genuinely happy to meet everyone she encounters… even the vet! Her tail is basically powered by joy and rarely stops wagging unless she’s asleep, and even then, she’ll give you a little wag from her bed if you make eye contact.

Harper discovered the magic of couch cuddles and is fully on board. She adjusted quickly to her very large foster brother and is learning what toys are (and what definitely are not). She’s smart, eager to please, and food motivated, already catching on to things like sitting politely for meals.

Harper can be a bit chatty when she’s excited, especially in the mornings or when you come home. It’s not for long, she just seems so happy she can’t contain herself! She’ll also let you know when she needs to go outside.

Crate time isn’t her favorite going in, but she settles quietly once inside. She doesn’t have much leash or vehicle experience yet, and was a little nervous on her first truck ride to the vet. With time and positive experiences, we’re confident she’ll learn that car rides can be fun too.

Overall, Harper is a joyful, loving, tail-wagging companion who is ready to keep learning and growing with her forever family. 💛

We do not have any background info on her family tree. Therefore we do not know her breeds. Best guess is Shepherd crossed with a Roomba, always moving, picks up all the crumbs, occasionally noisy.

Meet Grampa Vernon 🤍

Age: 10 years young
Breed: Dumped and Abandoned

Grampa Vernon came to us after being left abandoned, and it was clear he’d been neglected for quite some time. He needed extensive veterinary care, including a much-needed dental, as his teeth were in very poor condition. Thanks to that care, he’s now feeling so much better and it shows.

Vernon is truly a gem of a senior. He’s calm, gentle, and incredibly sweet. He loves lounging on the couch or a cozy dog bed, but don’t let his age fool you he still looks forward to his daily walks. A short 10–15 minute stroll in the morning and a longer walk after supper suit him perfectly.

He would make an amazing companion dog and fits easily into daily life. Vernon is great with kids, and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many types of homes.

This good boy has so much love left to give and is just waiting for a soft place to land for his golden years. 🐾💛

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, adopted, fostered, volunteered, shared our posts, or supported us in any way this year. Because of you, we were able to welcome 266 dogs and 67 cats into our care, that’s 333 lives we saved in 2025.

Every single one mattered, and none of this would be possible without this incredible community. 🐾❤️

These four little gentlemen found themselves in need of a rescue, and of course we showed up immediately. Their mom is the one and only Little Debbie, and their sisters are Snicker and Doodle (yes, the cookie theme runs strong in this family).

Meet Graham, Dunkaroo, Milano, and Macaron!

They’re 8 weeks old, full of wiggles, and expected to be medium sized when grown. Mom (Little Debbie) clocks in at 45 lbs. The father is rumored to be our adoptable Sesame… based on circumstantial evidence, vibes, and a striking resemblance. And he clocks in at 40lbs. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to Maury, so the results remain unofficial.
