I’m sorry the phones have not been taken care of😢I feel a little defeated over it. After the Christmas rush many of you know I usually take time off for my Christmas’s and file my taxes and repair anything in the spa.

I got whatever was going around I was so sick couldn’t even move and finally have my voice back. I didn’t even go to my family’s Christmas! I am still very drained and tired

I will be tending to the phones tomorrow so I’m sorry if you are hung over from new year’s festivities lol I do appreciate everyone’s patience

I also want to thank everyone for another amazing year and helping me grow. Thank you for all the tips and gifts I appreciate it all🥰

I had the best care takers to make me better, I’m also sure they just wanted mom time lol

All the Santa photos are ready for pick up FINALLY!!!! The live in door bells are waiting to warn me if your arrival.
I’m still so sorry for the wait a few had to be reprinted 4times!!!
If you all want I can share the chaos I went through for them and what they were trying to pass as good pictures….
Also next year is already in planning mode! It is booked for November 9th and some of you will be happy to hear ALL pet are welcome! I’m excited to see what comes. I will give more information closer to the event. But new hall, and new photo place!

We picked up more pictures tonight and are organizing them, calls for complete orders will be tomorrow. There is still a hand-full getting reprinted…again. (4th times the charm🤷‍♀️)
I am so sorry, we will not be using them next year, as much as I wanted to support local and they have always done a good job they have proven to me their customer service and communication is very lacking! Only good one in there was a gentleman I talked to tonight that apparently is a supervisor and he didn’t understand why things went the way they did either(it was my first time seeing him wish he was there at the beginning)
I was not going to give you deformed pictures, once I have all the orders completed maybe I’ll share some of what happened, will hopefully be laughable after all this!

Results are in! After covering the hall cost we raised $800!!! to split between northern connections and good will good karma.
For a first year go at this I feel that is not terrible and it will hopefully only get better. We have been chatting about how to improve and make things run a lil smoother.
A would like to send a huge thank you to my family and friends that helped me with all the planning and set up.
Also another huge thank you for the vendors for having faith in me for a first time event. I hope you all enjoyed the day.

A joint effect between Flexy's Collars and my self. There were at least 5boxes! of these shampoos and deodorizer sprays donated to
Northern Connection Rescue
Each box had at least 25 bottles in it. I was also told there was more to come!!!

They have now teamed up and any maple leaf collars being sold will help the rescue as well (please reach out to flexy’s collar or northern connection if interested/more info)

We are looking for canine donors in your area, as the demand in Ontario is higher than ever! I have included below a bit of information about the Canadian Animal Blood Bank, as well as a few upcoming clinics in Brantford that really need some beefing up donor-wise! We would love your help in recruiting donors!

Brantford Clinics with a High Need for Donors:
- Thurs Oct 5: Park Road Vet (11-3)
- Thurs Oct 12: Brant-Norfolk Veterinary After-Hours Emergency Clinic (10-3)

Eligibility:
Healthy dogs who are over 55lbs and between the ages of 1-8 can join the pack! We also require that donors be up-to-date on their core vaccines/titres. We understand donating is not for every dog, and we want it to be a positive experience for everyone - so please consider your dog's temperament if you are considering signing up! Canine donors are required to lay on their side for approximately 3-5 minutes, which can be quite inconvenient for some of our busier furry friends! We also have a few people in the room during the process, comfortably and gently holding your dog, so donor dogs should be comfortable with cuddles!

Can Owners Stay?
Yes - providing you feel your pet would prefer it, and you are comfortable seeing a blood donation yourself! We even encourage owners to stand at their dog's head throughout the donation.

Today was not an easy day, all but two of my clients today were in really rough shape.

These kitties here hadn’t been in over a year! The torti shown was super tender under those mats, making her hard to handle for her legs. They gave lot of love after and appreciated the relief.

I didn’t take pictures of the others but one was a super tiny Yorkie and his front legs were matted completely after his surgery (IV spot and tape and extended time between grooms) he’s wiggly but great, he’ll be back on track in no time

Other was a really big shepherd which was over a year old and hadn’t been groomed before. Between his legs was super tight matting and he was unsure of the process. By the end I could tell he felt amazing! by the time I came to the other side to get under his thigh he lifted his leg so I could get in better. We took things slow and he realized we were helping him.

Sometimes I can anticipate how bad the matting is going to be and other times not so much or how the pet will react. I finished my day about an hour later then usual, I may be exhausted but I am relieved for those pets

That being said nothing went out looking perfect but they went out feeling comfortable and that is my end goal for today.

I love getting your new fur babies use to grooming! This courageous little girl (yes a girl orange kitty!! So rare) did fabulous for her first visit!
She did have some moments in the tub and we made sure the listen to all the big tools I have so she would be more comfortable in the future. eventually she was just purring in my arms waiting for mom to come get her.

I figured where best to ask what questions you have ever thought of that maybe you were to shy or forgot to ask! Because if you thought it I guarantee at least 50 others have as well

The thing over the pups heads is a happy hoodie, I have them for all size of dogs and cats. They help reduce the dryer noise and they also help dry their ears a lil faster!
