Expat’s A’Pastis at the AWMA USA National Championship

This year’s AWMA USA National Championship was held in beautiful Maryland. The Underground Working Club and their fantastic, hard-working members and volunteers put on a great event. In my opinion, judging by Marc-Oliver Radke (Germany) & Nataša Živko (Slovenia), was a world level. My admiration goes to both judges who, side by side, rated both disciplines, obedience and protection, in scorching heat, literally almost without a break for all three days. I also thank tracking judge Aivo Oblikas (Estonia) for sharing his knowledge and giving me valuable tips on dealing with Mr Pastis and his new tracking shenanigans. Thank you also to the track layers and helpers who worked our dogs safely and constantly. Congratulations to the new AWMA champion Brittany Wild and Tango God of War!
