HORSE FRIENDS PLEASE SHARE. This is very important to me. ♥️

A somewhat urgent ask from all of you and I appreciate your help. I’m wondering if anyone knows/has seen/owns this mare. Thanks in advance! If you do and can PM me it would be much appreciated!

She is around 5 years old and last known location was Pitt Meadows/Langley.

TACK & MOVING SALE TOMORROW! Please read full ad 🙏
Saturday May 11th ~ 9am until 3pm (NO ENTRY BEFORE 9AM)
21700 block of 44th Ave just off of 216th Street in Langley

I say this with so much appreciation for those who have supported us/the rescue in the past or are planning to come out, BUT PLEASE do not ask me about prices, sizes, to sell you something tonight or to save it for you after the sale. These sales take days & weeks of long hours to prepare for and we will be up until at least midnight tonight getting everything priced and ready for your arrival tomorrow. If I responded to every question about every item I would not be able to sleep or have a full time job.

I feel like I say this every year but this is OUR BIGGEST SALE EVER. With me moving away I am selling all of my personal items & tack from my showing years. There are HUNDREDS of new & used items for both English and Western disciplines. Take a look at the pictures & we are still putting stuff out. You name it, we've got it…

In addition to the tack we will have a LOT of household items, antiques & collectibles. This is a moving sale just as much as it is a tack sale as I move out of the country and my parents are preparing to downsize.

Proceeds are donated to Second Step Equine & our efforts to save horses from slaughter.

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT 💕 This will be the final sale supporting the rescue before I leave and Alexsandra Dann and I couldn’t have accomplished everything we have without the folks who have turned up to support us at these events. Also shout out to The Tack Addict & Kathryn Dolphin for being so generous over the years in every possible way.

“Saving just one horse will not save the world. But surely it will save the world for that one horse.” ♥️

TACK & MOVING SALE NEXT WEEKEND!
Saturday May 11th ~ 9am until 3pm
21700 block of 44th Ave just off of 216th Street in Langley
Over 100 new & used items for both English and Western disciplines. Tailored Sportsman breeches, beautiful show shirts, tall boots, & show jackets! Saddles, bridles, girths, saddle pads, blankets, tack boxes.... You name it, we've got it. In addition to the tack we will have a LOT of household items not pictured here. I am moving out of the country so this is a moving sale as well!

All proceeds to our slaughter rescue efforts.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Theo
FEE: Low 4 Figures starting with a 1️⃣
Located in Bridge Lake, BC

Theo is a 6 year old 14.2HH gelding that was rescued from slaughter last year This boy had a hard start to his life and came to us as a severely abused previous chuck chariot horse. Now he is working on relearning the basics and is ready to find a new partner to help him into the next phase of his life.

After being rescued last spring, Theo spent most of the year in the field, gaining weight and learning to be a horse again! A few months he went back to school with the amazing Valaurie Wettstein and is starting to shine. While he still is working on trusting humans, Theo truly aims to please and has a heart of gold. With the right patience, consistency and experienced hand, he will make a great little trail partner. The video below is of his progress during his month in training. As you will see Val has spent time exposing him to new experiences, desensitizing, improving his day to day handling skills, teaching him to move off of pressure and he is now ground driving and has been saddled & bridled. Overall he is receiving the proper foundational start he never had before. He has an old wagon injury on his front left fetlock but it doesn’t seem to affect his soundness and does not exhibit any heat or swelling - just old scar tissue.

Theo will need an experienced hand and we are adamant about finding the right fit for this special young horse. Despite his difficult past, he has huge potential to be a heart horse for the right person. His adoption fee is priced to find the right fit, not the first person that is able to afford it. This is FAR less than it cost for us to get him out of the slaughter pipeline and start his training. Our number one priority is to set him up for success.
