Starting to plan my Fall breedings - very excited. Everyone here is ending their moults so they’re a bit rough looking, but after numerous brushings we will be ready to go ☺️

Most breeders cull what they do not sell/want. I just can’t. My heart can’t. But it’s super important to us that they go to wonderful homes (or they just stay with us). This is one of those homes. 🥰

La compagnie oxbow, nouvellement vendue à une autre compagnie, éprouve des problèmes d’approvisionnement de certains ingrédients pour le mélange du critical care. Le critical care est une poudre à mélanger pour gaver nos herbivores lorsqu’ils ne s’alimentent plus d’eux même (stase gastrique, ne mangent plus à cause d’une douleur reliée à leur stérilisation par exemple…) et est un incontournable dans la pharmacie de secours de votre lapin. Il n’y en a plus sur Amazon
Certains vétérinaires s’occupant d’animaux exotiques en ont probablement encore en stock, cependant ils éprouvent les mêmes difficulté d’approvisionnement que nous tous. Si jamais vous n’en avez pas présentement il serait peut-être plus prudent de contacter votre vétérinaire afin de savoir si ils en ont toujours en stock, et d’en garder un sac chez vous puisque personne ne peut donner une date de retour sur le marché 🌱

Just over 30 minutes and all rabbits have had a Wellness check and nails done. Once we got our system down it’s smooth sailing 😅

Black fox, blue fox and what I believe is another blue fox.

Fox is similar looking to the tort pattern, but the belly and under side of the tail are white. Also around the eyes, jowl area, ears and nostrils. Fox is not a showable color, but can help produce other varieties that are (ie tort).

🤎 update #347: after some research and watching the chocolate kits today, I feel 3 of them will be fine. #4 kit has a congenital malformation and I believe will not survive.

As for my other litter, they’re fantastic! Haha!

Chocolate litter is NFS. What I’m not keeping is spoken for. :)

🤎 litter: Mom is struggling as a first-time mom. I’m hoping kits get to weaning - as much as you help them sometimes - sometimes it’s just nature, sadly. Left photo is of the chunkiest one. Lots of variety in the self chocolate color, plus 1 chocolate tort I believe.
