How the swaps & Closet will operate.
The swap will stay @ Modern Thymes Health & Bulk Foods, Smiths Falls on the second Saturday of each month from 10-noon. The clothes that are left, will continue to be available throughout the month at Sand Crane’s Closet. I am so thankful that sometime in the next month (open date still tbd) The Closet will be open several days a week (hours still tbd). People can still book appointments, but they will no longer be necessary.
The Closet will be open to everyone and the clothes available throughout the month will be displayed like a thrift store. I have been struggling with the huge moral dilemma of how I can cover the costs of opening a physical closet. It’s gotten so big, that the choices were to shut it all down or find a space that has overhead. This is what I have concluded.
The clothes available at the closet will all come from the swap donations. They will be available for a suggested donation of $1 per item.
This means, those who can afford to contribute the $1, get an awesome thrift style experience with unheard of deals. Anyone who can not afford the donation will be asked to give what they can. There will also be treasures (not clothes) for sale.

Big Thank You!
I am so filled with gratitude to finally announce….Thanks to the participation and donations of this community, Sand Crane’s Closet will soon have a permanent home. Details like location and opening date to follow, but for now I am looking to see if there are any bookshelves, clothes/shoe racks, or display stands of any sort that are no longer needed and looking for a new home.
