Mia and I visited our previous ladybird Animal Sanctuary foster doggie Milo today. Our hearts were pounding as we walked 5 minutes down the road to visit him for the first time since he was adopted over 1.5 months ago. We wanted him and his new lovely family to become acquainted so gave them space, though the invitation was always there. ♥️ He’s happy and thriving, gained weight and is just the bubbliest sweet boy I’ve ever known. We were sad again to leave him but not nearly as much as the first time. We know he’s in the best of hands. Xoxo

Milo is so lucky. We miss him terribly but it is far less painful knowing he’s in loving hands and has a new bostie sister who he is already being chased by! He has 4 humans whom are amazing with bosties and a beautiful home and backyard. ♥️

What a day! Brought our lovely foster dog Milo in for a big surgery and then later this evening grabbed him. His post op will be a bit intense but we’ve got this. Took my son into his pediatrician. Other kid home sick. This sweet dog shown below got stung by a wasp on his paw mid walk so we were lucky my husband was able to rush over and bring us back to his house. Benadryl, ice, comfort and reassurance given until the doggie’s dad came home. Then helped figure out a dumped bunny (people can be awful) situation and donated some supplies. Dropped off loads of washed laundry for cats I volunteer with. In between all of that…the usual busy work day and managing our family of kids and pets. Tomorrow we pick up potentially 10 kittens to foster o/n.

Life is crazy but I seriously wouldn’t have it any other way. At the end of the day, everyone is home and safe and we are filled with gratitude and love for all the experiences we have with these incredible animals.

I received a message late last night from a client that this sweet young boy had passed away suddenly doing what he loved, playing with a puppy friend. I’m shocked and saddened by this news. I nicknamed him Tigger as he was so bouncy and bubbly. I’ll miss you, Tigger. RIP

This beautiful senior girl is dealing with cancer and her mama was worried to leave her (and her foster sister alone). I’m so grateful that she chose me to care for them in her absence. ♥️♥️🐾🐾
