Grinchy Santa Photos at GPF Burnaby! Join us for a jolly good time and get your camera ready for a magical experience wtih the one and only Mr. Grinch. He’s a vile one, with termites in his smile and has all the tender sweentess of a seasick crocodile - but we’ll make sure your holiday photos won’t stink, stank, stunk. He knows a great Grinchy trick; with his coat and his hat he’ll look just like St Nick!
These days the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before... Maybe Christmas, he thinks... doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps... means a little bit more!
Grab your kitties and doggos, and head on over for a festive photo session. See you there!

Tickets are a minimum $5 donation and all proceeds go to .dogrescue as part of our annual holiday Paw Drive!

Walk-ins are still welcome from 10am-2pm! We recommend you get a ticket to reduce your wait time

Attention Reactive Dogs: We have spots available between 9am-10am where you can bring your pup in store while we are still closed. If these spaces book out we will still do our best to accommodate your reactive pup. We recommend visiting our Hastings location for later in the day times where we have a second entrance for a quieter visit

All animals are welcome - except bears, we won’t make that mistake again. Children are also welcome, although as we are a pet shop, we recommend having a pet in the photo ;)

It’s time for 🎅📸🎄

At 4pm on Sunday, November 17th we’re releasing tickets for our annual Santa photos and we need your help! Last year we invited the Grinch for photos and despite his grumpy reputation we had a delightful time ✨But we hear Santa is a little jealous and trying to up his cool factor to win back the people. So what do you think? Who should we invite for photos this year?

Save the date:

Hastings: 9am-2pm on December 7th
Highgate: 9am-2pm on December 8th

This year we’ll have a limited supply of time slots for reactive dogs from 9am-10am 🫶 All photos are with a minimum donation of $5 to Northern Hope Dog Rescue and we’re excited to be organizing this years event with ticketed time slots to help reduce the wait time! (Bear with us, we still expect there will be some wait but significantly less than previous years!!)

Welcome to GPF 😻

Made in Vancouver Island, this small business was inspired by a Bull Mastiff named Paget. Paget struggled with allergies and tummy troubles, and so began the journey to create wholesome natural snacks, packed with nutrient dense super foods, probiotics and omega 3’s 🙌

Snack Baby treats are made with goat milk, which not only provides the aforementioned probiotics but loads of flavor. Made into little freeze dried waffles, we’ve been using these treats as a high value treat and a way to boost the dinner bowl 😋

Trick or Treating After Dark costume contest 👻

Being both a water soluble and insoluble fiber means that it can soften stool for constipation or adds bulk to runny stools 🐐Goats milk is loaded with probiotics to help with digestion, repopulate the micro biome after antibiotics, rich in amino acids and flavor 🐝 Our dogs have horrible seasonal allergies so we use bee pollen as a natural daily antihistamine in the spring and summer months. Bee pollen has other benefits too such as being loaded with amino acids, its anti-microbial/anti-fungal/anti-viral, promotes a healthy liver and much more 🥚 Quails eggs are rich in omega fatty acids which are great for skin and coat and resolving some skin issues. Other benefits included aiding in cognitive function, contributing to healthy eyesight, reducing risk of cardiovascular disease and supporting kidney health 🐟 Sardines are an oily fish loaded with omega fatty acids, amino acids and flavor.
