The shed we need is at the top of the wish list 💕🐰 we need to store our hay and supplies in it as people keep complaining about the hay so we got a bylaw report oh no. 😢 The report says we need to remove the hay from the property but I can’t do that since I need access to it daily for the buns. Morning everyone!! 😊❤️ silly indica wanted to say hi and let you guys know that we are finally running out of food pellets after over 4 months of having them. She also wants you to know that we have our goal of 2600 to raise by February 22 to get 4 females spayed but if we can raise over that goal that would be so amazing!! We also still need to order the shed if we can. I know it’s a lot to ask especially from a rescue that’s small. I’m so glad everyone could join the buns and I for a live. I talked a bit about the buns who need to be spayed by February 22 so I thought I would make a goal post and see if we can reach that goal by then. Consider having a coffee at home and sparing your coffee change to the buns. I had a really rough day yesterday i apologize everyone. 💕❤️ I have to spend some hours cleaning outside today and I noticed we have too much stuff outside so things end up all over which looks gross!! We would be really thankful if we can raise money to buy a shed to store all our stuff in it. I was thinking 5x6 something like that size.

Hi guys I just wanted to pop by to talk about people picking up domestic bunnies. So of course people are dumping rabbits on the daily and it will get even worse with Easter. So I see many people pick up dumped bunnies or try to rescue them but there is one thing I want you to think about before you do that. You need to stop to ask yourself do I have the means to do that, can I afford to care for them, get them medical care and if I can’t are all rescues too full. You need to ask if the rescue is not full, do they have enough foster homes, do they have enough supporters to help them with this new bunnies care. Think about possibly giving a donation if you are gonna drop off a bunny you picked up. I’ve had to say no to many bunnies the last 4 plus months now and we only have ten to twenty people who donate but yet we have 4000 followers. We hate saying no but before you pick up a bunny please consider all the things I talked about. When you pick up a dumped animal and drop it off at a rescue it’s not that simple at all.

So todays post is gonna be educational and we are gonna talk about hoarding. Hoarding is normally when you have an issue with getting rid of things, not wanting to let stuff go and just collecting everything you can because you want to save everything possible. It can cause a person a ton of distress to get rid of the things they are collecting. The main things people will hoard in life is food, small items and even animals sadly. Did you guys know that most times the habit of hoarding starts at teenage years and there is mild levels or extreme levels of hoarding. Extreme hoarders get to the point where they normally fill their homes so full with stuff that they can’t even walk around and it then causes issues for them or people around or even animals they own. If you are an extreme hoarder you may of started these habits to help you cope with other problems in your life like mental health aka depression, anxiety, adhd. Did you guys also know there is no known clear cause as to why people hoard but it can be cause of genetics, brain function or stressful life events. The pics below will show what real hoarding is especially with animals and it’s unfortunate situations get like this. Now I made this post today because I want people to truly understand the degree of what hoarding is and understand our rescue represents none of that. We have had some negative people who like to accuse me of hoarding and I thought I would take the time to educate plus be positive instead of being negative.
