Pups have come and gone now. Super bittersweet and yes I’ve shed a few tears. This was by far one of the most challenging, intense, beautiful, stressful and rewarding things I’ve ever done. Breeding is definitely not for the faint of heart. I couldn’t have done it without Brenda being my mentor from the very beginning. She was literally on call to me any time day or night and she and Jean even watched my babies for two nights so I could collect myself and some much needed sleep (I quite literally went five days on maybe 3 hours sleep and that’s not 3 hours in a row). Brenda also helped me with my vaccinations, microchipping, weaning tips and more, I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor and friend through this whole process. Also shout out to my girl Lacey (retired US frenchie breeder, where I got Monny) for giving me the confidence to finally go through with breeding my girl!
Now I sit here in a “quiet” house with empty nest syndrome missing my babes, but I also know they’re all getting spoiled rotten by their new families and I’m so so happy for all them! I’m so so so thankful for this experience and also super happy for all the updates from these Babies new couches 🖤
