I am on medical leave for the next two weeks advised by my doctor.
Dear Sparkle Spaw family,
This letter is written with a heavy but hopeful heart.
As many of you know, I have poured my heart and soul into my work for years, always striving to show up fully for every appointment, every request, and every one of you. It’s been one of the greatest joys of my life to build this business and these relationships—but in doing so, I’ve neglected the most important relationship of all: the one with myself.
Recently, my body gave me a clear wake-up call, and I was admitted to the ER due to extreme stress and burnout. While I wish I could continue at my current pace, the truth is, I simply cannot. I have young children who need their mother present, healthy, and whole. I need rest, healing, and space to reconnect with my life outside of work.
With that in mind, I’ve made the extremely difficult decision to scale back my workload immediately. This means I will need to cancel a number of upcoming appointments—even some that have been booked well in advance.
I want you to know this is not a reflection on how much I value you. It is purely a necessary act of self-preservation and care. I hope you can understand how hard this decision has been, and trust that it is not made lightly.
If your appointment is one that will be affected, you will receive a direct message from me soon. At this time, I will not be offering the ability to rebook. I understand this may be disappointing, and for that, I am truly sorry.
I am beyond grateful for the love, loyalty, and kindness you have shown me over the years. I will carry that with me as I begin this next chapter—one focused on healing, slowing down, and being present with my children while they are still little.
Thank you for being part of my journey. Your understanding means more than I can ever express.
With love and gratitude,
Leah
