It’s funny to think what breeds of dogs I haven’t done a mini me of. I’ve only done maybe 2 Shibas. Dalmatian may be the only one I can think of that I haven’t made! Speaking of Dalmations, 101 Dalmations was my favourite Disney movie growing up 🥰

I was blessed with the opportunity to spend the afternoon yesterday prepping meals to send with my friend to go hand out in YYC as she does every Sunday. I was able to create 37 full meals (homemade Mac&cheese with assortment of veggies and sausage added) with a strawberry cake cup for dessert and a bunch of salmon sandwiches. I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met in my community. It takes a village! I’m beyond stoked to be a part of one ❤️
Also, how dang cute is this Emily in Paris inspired cake 🥳 🇫🇷

I made 46 cakes, 3 dozen cupcakes with 8 of them being mini me cakes since Thursday. I am exhausted but the parties must go on!! I don’t plan on having a weekend like that again for a while 🫣
It was Gus’ sisters birthday but his dad still got him a cake anyway 🥳🥰

I’ve got an IG page up and running for 🥳
With the help of a neighbour who also does homeless outreach, we were able to make up a food hamper and gathered some clothes for mom and daughter and even got a brand new pair of runners. It’s amazing how much can happen with one thought and the help of a few hands 🥰 I am thinking of exclusively doing 10 year old bdays as well. Head on over and give my new venture a follow!!
My mantra for this year was that I wanted to be in a place where I could help others. Financially- I WISH 😆 But I’ve got time and skills which money can’t buy 🤷‍♀️ 👩🏼‍🍳

Update!!! I had a blast at the Ranchman’s audition a couple weeks ago. With myself not being as established of a singer as many others who were there, I was invited back to play paid gigs at Ranchman’s but didn’t make it to the semi finals. Which I honestly would not have been ready for 🫣 I’ve really been trying to find my place in this world lately where I can help people in this lifetime. I think I finally found a need in this city that I can fill! I have no idea where to start (I felt this exact way when I started Pupcakes YYC too 😅) but I am going to be starting a charity or group rather of bakers who can provide home made birthday cakes for parents who can’t afford one themselves. I am a twin and my birthday also falls so close to Christmas that I have never had a special birthday or party. It’s always been paired with Christmas and no one is ever available to celebrate which is perhaps why it brings me so much joy to be able to do that for others who truly deserve it. I’ve got my first cake delivery for a special little lady this weekend 🤩🥳🥹

Made my bestie a belated birthday cake this weekend and it was sooo good! 6inch eggless chocolate fudge cake filled with a peanut butter chip ganache and milk chocolate ganache, covered in chocolate buttercream with a dark chocolate almond drip 🥳😍
Of course we made some cupcakes as well, and my son had to ask, are those for dogs before eating one 😂🫣

I’m lowkey excited/anxious/a bit nervous for tomorrow 🫣 I’m going to be auditioning for .ca Rising Star competition. As many of you probably don’t know, I used to go to Nashville in my 20’s and got the opportunity to sing on Broadway and even at the Blue Bird cafe. I have an edm album on Spotify, and have some other music on the depths on the interwebs from when I was flown to New Mexico at 21 to record an EP. I struggled so much with confidence in my 20’s that I set the music dream aside for something more lucrative. And here I am 6 years later, ready to finally get back into it. I will be playing all my own original tunes as well 🤩 I made it past the audition 8 years ago so I’m quite confident. It’s the first round that’s the challenge 🫣
