LOOKING FOR A Veterinarian Assistant/Receptionist/Exam Room Assistant. Part-time.

We are looking for a compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist/Exam Room Assistant to support our veterinarian in providing excellent care to our patients. We are a busy small multi doctor practice looking to expand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Care for animals by, feeding, watering, and walking for bathroom breaks

-Assist in holding and restraining animals during exams and surgical procedures

-Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and tools

-Ensure all cages and kennels are clean

-Perform administrative duties such as updating files and processing payments

-Ensure exam and operating rooms are stocked and sterilized

-Assist doctor in exam rooms

-Record keeping

-Answering phones

-Filling prescriptions


Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Basic understanding of animal behavior and health care

Passion for working with animals and their owners

Attention to detail in order to maintain accurate patient records

Physical ability to restrain larger pets when necessary


Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Cinnie wasn't impressed. We did a short walk with the booties and by the end she didn't mind them. They kept the sidewalk chemicals off her feet and legs warm. Helps with arthritis. So glad I got them for her.
