Our puppy cuddlers nightly routine! Who doesn't love pup kisses 😍🥰
Haven't heard of the Barbet breed before? That would be because the first barbet came to Canada in 1997!! AND there are only approximately 60 Barbet in Canada at the moment! Barbet is a pure bred French Water dog recently recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club.
The Barbet are medium sized, hypoallergenic, with a athletic build. Barbet are joyful, intelligent and obedient. They really do make great companions in any home. Barbet also have a very distinctive beard and curly hair that comes in shades of black, grey, brown or fawn. Sometimes with white markings.
The Barbet have been bred for years to be valuable marsh, gun dogs. They are tremendous swimmers and keen hunters. Agility, rally, dock diving and lure coursing are a few sports these dogs participate in.
Barbet excel with positive interactions and upbeat training. They are a sensitive breed but have an even temperament and are oh soo sweet 🥰
Any questions about the Barbet don't hesitate to ask!
