Adjustability is what Ella and Elliot are currently focusing on! Elliot is a big guy and learning the ropes of becoming a good little hunter, and everyone knows that in the hunter ring you have to be able to adjust on the fly!🤌
With the extension of the arena we are now able to help strengthen our riders eyes on riding different line lengths but also be able to help teach the big youngsters, like Elliot how to be comfortable travelling up lines and how to collect (with power 😉) in the lines as well!

Nothing better than a Christmas surprise!
Last week we welcomed not one, not two, but THREE new horses!
Starting from the right to the left;
Zeppelin is one of VQ newest show horse members, he is a 7 year old Clyde cross that sticks around 16.3! Not only did he win us over with his looks but he has one of the sweetest and bravest personalities! Zeppelin has shown in previous years and we can’t wait to see what he can accomplish here at VQ!
Next up is Blaze! Blaze is a 18 year old, small pony that will be teaching some of our younger riders! Blaze is SAFE, SAFE, SAFE which is why we felt as though he would be a great addition to the family!
Last but certainly not least we have Luxe! Luxe is owned by the Downey family. Our main goal was to find a horse that both Abby and Ava could safely but competitively move up in height on over the next few years and Luxe checked all those boxes!

Congrats to Leah on her half lease to Cruise Control for the 2025 seasons!
After a great season this year Leah decided that she would like to continue her lease with Cruise for another year to move up in height to the 2’9 children’s!

Marin and coco had a great show this past weekend. These two worked hard in between show one and two. During the classic jump off they took a tight turn that Marin had been practicing, taking this turn put Marin 9th out of the whole cross rail class and allowed them to take the big orange ribbon!
Their hard work really paid off!!

Leah and Cruise competed in the 2’6/2’9 derby together this past weekend, this was Leah’s first ever derby and this pair managed to get a score of 99! These two had the second highest score of the class!
