Kinda tough to articulate in 20 below. āļø But next time youāre out walking with your pup, take a photo of their tracks. Great thing to monitor to catch the subtle signs of asymmetry before problems build up and pain starts showing.

Maybe once Iāve been doing this for more than a few years Iāll stop being amazed by the results we get with chiropractic. But I doubt it.

My surprise last patient of the day š“š«
I was asked if chiropractic could help a horse that had been stumbling ever since she ran into a mirror and down a flight of stairs at just 1 year old. I said it couldnāt hurt to try!
When I examined her, I found the most swollen and stuck atlas Iāve ever felt in my career.
The change in her post-adjustment was immediate ā I loved listening back to the commentary from everyone watching (it felt like the whole stable was there!). Even if you donāt know horses well, just look at her ears, the way she holds her head, and how her eyes soften. Itās a clear shift from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest mode.
Why does that matter? Healing canāt happen in a high-stress state, and this sweet girl has been hurting for three years.
No matter how tired I am, if you tell me thereās another horse that needs help, Iāll probably say yes š„°

Why do so many dogs with torn ACLs end up tearing the second one? š
I explain it in the reel, but I think I could have been more clear. The cold clearly affected my brain, and my ability to form words!
Your brain relies on the spine to move properly to know where the body is in space. When a dog tears a ligament, the body compensates, spreading stress to the hips and spine.
š If the spine stops moving well, the brain gets faulty signals about body position.āØš This can lead to less awareness of the opposite knee, increasing the risk of injury.
This might explain why the second ACL often tearsāand why it seems less common in animals receiving regular chiropractic care.
While this is anecdotal and not yet supported by formal studies, itās something I observe often. I take detailed notes and plan to turn these observations into a case reportāand maybe a full study one day!
Chiropractic care isnāt just for pain relief; it helps the body heal and prevent injuries.
If your dog has an ACL injury, consider seeing an animal chiropractor. If Iām nearby, Iād love to helpāand your dogās experience could contribute to growing evidence of chiropracticās benefits.
Odds I end the year with just one dog?
Got inspired to record this while on my way to a stable to see a horse patient. Was halfway through the latest Leila Hormozi podcast when I had to stop and record this.
If you have 5 minutes to listen- this is an incredibly informal job advertisement. If you are:
āļøare a good driver
āļødown to work long hours, often out in the elements
āļølove working with animals AND humans
Then this job might be of interest to you.
And obviously, if you know someone who fits the description of the person I describe in this video, please share it with them š
Thanks for reading!

Ps - I know the audioās a bit off, but thatās kind of the point. Help with editing these videos (so we can get better reach and help more animals) would absolutely be a skill Iād be looking to hire for.
PPS - youād also have to be cool with the Coa riding in the back seat š¶
Looking forward to recording part 2 of this Icelandic horseās story š„°
A chiropractor with low back pain? How embarrassing. How clichƩ.
Posting this here because the social shame of not following through on what I set out to do is usually enough to get me moving towards my goals. The goal here is to commit to a daily yoga practice. Specifically the 30-day Yoga with Adriene Flow Challenge. š§āāļø
If youāre even remotely tempted to join me, Iām going to gift this hat (well, not this one exactly, thatād be grossālots of horses and dogs have licked this one) to anyone who completes the full challenge. And obviously you have to be part of the Flow Animal Chiro communityāmeaning either you or your animal is under regular chiropractic care. Canāt have a poorly adjusted animal walking around associating themselves with my brand!
Let me know if you want to join in. Iāll send you the link to the first session. No time limit - finish the challenge and the hat is yours š«¶
This has the feel of something Iāll be happy to look back on one day.
For now Iām embracing the struggle of just trying to figure it out. Bring it on, 2025.

Iām not afraid to say it. Chiropractic decreases road fatalities.
