STS Illusion aka Mya will get you noticed in the show ring. She is solid W/T/C under saddle and starting over fences. Currently jumping short courses (3-4 fences) at 0.6-0.7m and working up to a full course. Has shown at our home shows over xrails a couple of times. Brave to the fence if rider is confident. Showing amazing scope already over fences. Nice and forward to the fence but very soft and responsive to aids.
Given her age this is not a beginner horse. She requires a rider with soft hand. No vices
This horse is amazing and I am only putting her up for lease due to the projected length of my recovery time following an injury. She loves to be ridden and I’d like to keep her going while I heal.
Please PM or text me at 403-973-9693 to arrange to come try her.
Opportunity to work off some of her cost of care as we have a Sunday shift open cleaning stalls.

Electric Barbarella aka Lexi spent the summer competing at 0.8-0.85m on the grass and jumping 0.9m and some 1.0m at home. Very consistent at 0.8-0.9m over a full course.
In her hay day she competed up to 1.45m and has done international ring at Spruce with Kyle King. She has miles and miles of show experience and not afraid of anything. She is quick but controlable, and can do inside turns. Careful with her feet if properly supported to the fence. Very competitive in the show ring. Rode her all summer in just a loose ring snaffle.
This is not a beginner horse as she is forward and requires a rider with some skill. Perfect horse for someone to move up into the 0.8m or 0.9m on.
This horse is amazing and I am only putting her up for lease due to the projected length of my recovery time following an injury. She needs a job, loves to work and LOVES to jump.

The course is ready for the show this weekend!
Saturday's courses. :D
We don't currently have anyone jumping higher than .8m on Saturday, but if anyone wants to, I'm happy to set them higher and it will be the same courses as the .8's.
Start times for the show this weekend with what we currently have entered:
Friday schooling: 3:30pm for .5m horses. 4:30pm for .8m horses.
Saturday: 10am start for mini X rail trot classes with .4m, .5m, .7m, & .8m to follow.
Sunday: 10am start for .5m classes with .6m, .7m, .8m, .9m, 1m, 1.10m, & 1.20m to follow.
All those entered will be sent a class list with tentative start times for each via email sometime on Thursday.
I've also got the Sunday courses ready, so you guys can have them now. Will post Saturday's courses sometime Thursday as well. :D
We've got $1500 in prize money, coolers to the winners, and big ribbons and money to 8th for our 2 mini prixs this coming Sunday.....
And we have only 5 horses entered in each so far.
$500 .6m-.8m mini prix. $35 entry fee.
$1000 .9m - 1.20m mini prix. $45 entry fee.
Surprisingly, we have entries for this now and they're all right with it running on the grass first thing Saturday morning. If there's any other takers, let us know! :D
Hi, everyone.
It looks we'll have just enough entries to run the grass ring. I've redone the schedule to accommodate new heights requested and the change of arena. Hopefully this still works for everyone. Some of the indoor ring classes have been moved outside. Our grass is quite dry and cushy and people have been jumping on it fine without shoes or corks at the lower heights.
If you've already entered, please send in by message or email your new class because the class list has changed quite a bit.
As always, if a division has 3 or less horses in it, it will be combined with the next closest height with the same classes and least # of horses.
And like always at our shows, no one gets eliminated as long as you finish the course.
We'll accept new entries with no late fees until Wednesday.
For anyone who can't make it next weekend but would like to come school the grass ring show course (20+ jumps as well as dry ditches and liverpools), please book your dates asap while the weather is still nice. $40/20min/horse
(Please ignore the now out-of-date prize list on our website. I don't have access to it and our web person is sick right now.)
We have only 5 grass entries and 1 indoor entry for our Aug 30-Sept 1st show right now.
Option 1: We need a minimum of 15 grass and 10 indoor to be worth the time and effort to run it. If anyone else is interested in entering please do so by this Friday evening or it will be cancelled.
Option 2: We move the show back a week to Sept 6-8th. Let us know if this date works better for you.
If the show is cancelled entirely, open schooling on the grass will still be available until the end of September (weather permitting).
SAVE THE DATE!!

Congratulations to Gia and Black Tor Affair on their 3rd place finish today at Teesdale Equestrian Centre.
What a great day jump schooling on the grass ❤️
Grass ring is open for schooling. Call to book a time.
Congratulations to Kylie Dubovsky and Benz placing 7th overall at Rebecca Farms Eventing meet in Montana on the weekend. We are so proud of these two.

Hey Miss Lucy sharing some Gatorade with Mom after her lesson this evening.
Great weekend showing Paramount last weekend.
Gia and Black Tie affair placed 3rd in their 0.6m speed class on the sand then move up to 0.75m. Lots of learning moments this weekend but we are so proud of your perseverance and determination even when things don’t always go as planned.
Layla and Jack be Quick had amazing rounds in their 0.8m classes on the grass winning 3rd in both speeds, 6th in her jump off, and 2nd in the Miniprix. They then moved up to a 0.9m classes on the grass and even though they had a rail they did very well.
It was Heidi and Electric Barbarella’s first time out together last weekend. After only 2 months jumping consistently they won the 0.8m speed class on Sunday. Friday and Saturday rounds were full of learning and only had a single rail down each. Unfortunately for their 2nd class on Sunday a thrown shoe ended with 2 rails down.
Dani and Hey Miss Lucy came out for their very first show together in the 0.6m in the sand. They had lots of learning moments and we have a plan of things to work on for next time. While your first show didn’t go as planned we are so proud of you for always putting your horse first and foremost, and your desire to learn and grow.
Journey came out on Friday to do a couple 1.0M schooling rounds on Electric Barbarella. Their last round was fast, clear and very well ridden. Watch out for this gal in the near future.
Gia, Layla, Journey and Dani we are so proud of you all, and grateful that we get to work with such talented young people.
Sara Davies, Layla Davies, Lucy Aburto Alfredo Aburto Dani Steward Journeyy Buchholz
And last, but certainly never least, our Sunday show courses. Have fun everyone!
We'll leave this course up for a bit if anyone who couldn't make it for the weekend would like to come school. :D
Here's the Saturday grass ring show courses. It's all set up already, meaning I'm being unusually nice and letting people practice them during their Friday schooling rounds instead of putting up an entirely different course like I normally do for Friday. But this took me 2 days to set. I just don't have time Friday night to reset.
HOWEVER, there will be a new course set for Sunday with different poles and/or fill for many of the jumps and different combinations and lines. :D
Here's the Friday indoor schooling course and the Saturday morning indoor class courses. We currently only have one indoor entry for Sunday, so that division is being moved to Saturday and combined with the next height. A .75m height has also been added by request. We have trot xrails of varying heights and .4m verticals and up with no combinations in the indoor classes, so great for your greenies if anyone else is interested. No late fees if entered before the end of Thursday.
The Friday schooling on the grass is going to be a free-for-all. Just jump whatever you like that is set up out there. There will be approximately 25 different jumps to choose from.
You don't have to be entered in the show to school on Friday. Open to all. $35/horse for 20min. There are still spots open Friday morning and early evening.
The grass ring will also be open for trailer in schooling for the rest of the summer. We're happy to accommodate people's schedules whenever possible.
Sneak peek for the weekend.
1 of our 2 dry ditches.
Starting to look like a show ring here! 😁
The frames are in for the dry ditches and Liverpools, which will be option jumps during the show.
Beautiful ribbons for this weekends jumper show.
Sand and grass classes. Stalls still available.
Very affordable fees!
We are still accepting entries!! Cash prizes for the add back stake classes.
A few natural obstacles in the grass will be completed for this weekend.
For our show in Aug we will have a water jump installed, and if all goes well our table top will be in.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Who needs to take your dog for a walk, when you can take your pony? Beautiful Cher Ami EH and STS Illusion out for a stroll during a beautiful evening last night.
Whether your horse is just starting out, has anxiety, rehabbing from an injury, or needs to build muscle; long lining/ground driving should be a part of any horses training. It is one of the best ways to help an anxious or young horse gain more confidence and is an integral part of our training program here at Equine Haven. #horsemanship #horsetraining #naturalhorsemanship
I’ve been wanting to get a video of Tem’s antics at feed time for a while. Not quite as ridiculous as he can be but still funny!! Make sure your sound is on.
Atlas Update We’ve had Atlas home from his surgery for just over a week now and we are starting to see some improvement in the post op swelling. Unfortunately this boy still has a long road ahead of him to complete recovery but we remain cautiously optimistic. Part of his treatment is cold hosing 2x a day in an area that is less than pleasant. In order to keep him calm and happy we’ve discovered that he loves to be sang to. He loves hymns, with his favourite being Amazing Grace. We ask everyone to send positive vibes and prayers for his recovery and for his loving owner Kevin.
