Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and considering Little Moon Pawz as your pet's grooming destination!
Little Moon Pawz is a very small home grooming business run by just me. My name is Shonté. I am a stay-at-home working mama and a dog groomer with about 6+ years of dog grooming experience. I have knowledge of a wide variety of different breeds and different coat types. I pride myself in being able to run a business where your dog will get a one-on-one grooming session with no kennel time!
I started this business for a few reasons. Since becoming a mom, I knew I wanted to stay home with my son and we were not comfortable putting him in daycare. I didn't think I could do that and continue grooming since I would need to go to a salon to work. I took a break in search of other remote work with no luck. Then, I found myself missing grooming dogs and bonding with the many little personalities I'd come across. I finally decided to take the leap and combine what I wanted to do. Little Moon Pawz was created so I could get the best of both worlds. Staying home with my son and making money doing what I enjoy- grooming pups!
Things to consider when booking with Little Moon Pawz. Right now, due to space restrictions, I can only accommodate small dogs (1-40lbs).
Also, please take into consideration that I am a mom first, and as anyone who has or has raised kids knows that things come up that are out of your control. What I can promise is there will always be open communication and I will work around obstacles to the best of my abilities.
