1/1600 de seconde, c'est toujours la vitesse d'obturation minimum que j'utilise lorsque je photographie cette discipline. Un temps d'exposition plus lent laisserait assurément une trainée, un flou de mouvement dans l'image tellement le chien arrive rapidement.

Maintenant, transférez cette information dans l'optique de l'homme d'attaque. Imaginez à quelle vitesse il doit s'ajuster pour absorber toute cette énergie que le chien dégage.

Encore une fois, on voit à quel point Bond Vom Haus Le ne se laisse pas intimider et engage une morsure à pleine gu**le malgré la grande vitesse à laquelle il arrive. Dylan Powell n'a qu'à bien se tenir.

1/1600 of a second is always the minimum shutter speed I use when photographing this discipline. A slower exposure time would certainly leave a trail, a motion blur in the image so quickly the dog arrives.

Now transfer this information into the helper's optics. Imagine how quickly he has to adjust to absorb all that energy the dog is giving off.

Once again, we see how Bond Vom Haus Le is unintimidated and engages a full-mouthed bite despite the high speed at which he arrives. Dylan Powell better watch out.

Ce sont toujours des images spectaculaires, particulièrement sous la pluie. En fait, ce n'est que quelques secondes plus t**d que tous poussent un soupir de soulagement. Le chien a pris une bonne morsure, l'agitateur a bien réussi à absorder l'impact et dissiper en douceur la quantité phénoménale d'énergie déployé par la vitesse du chien. Tout s'est bien passé et tout le monde est en bonne santé.

They are always spectacular images, especially in the rain. In fact, it's only seconds later that everyone breathes a sigh of relief. The dog took a good bite, the helper did a good job of absorbing the impact and gently dissipating the phenomenal amount of energy deployed by the dog's speed. Everything went well and everyone is healthy.

L'exercice qu'on appelle "test de courage" ne dure que quelques secondes. L'agitateur courre vers le chien qui lui, courre vers l'agitateur. Parmi ces quelques secondes que dure l'exercice, il y a une seconde plus importante que toutes les autres, celle où le chien aggrippe la manche. L'homme d'attaque doit s'assurer d'offrir au chien une opportunité de prendre une morsure correcte, d'absorber l'énergie générée par l'impact et, en même temps, dégager une attitude intimidante pour le chien. Dans cette toute petite seconde, le juge peut évaluer les qualités de courage du chien.

The so-called "test of courage" exercise only lasts a few seconds. The agitator runs towards the dog which runs towards the agitator. Among these few seconds that the exercise lasts, there is one second that is more important than all the others, when the dog grabs the sleeve. The helper must make sure to give the dog an opportunity to take a proper bite, to absorb the energy generated by the impact and, at the same time, give off an intimidating attitude for the dog. In this very small second, the judge can evaluate the qualities of courage of the dog.

In order to raise Funds for the WUSV TEAM CANADA, we are hoping that you will partake in our raffle!

These are the products we use to cover our vehicles when parked with dogs. They lower the internal temp of your vehicle substantially. We have found nothing better cool a non-running vehicle on sunny days.

They are difficult to find, so if you want one, here’s your chance.

We’ve had a rough week, fam.
Here’s what we know:

Thunder prefers his eggs over easy. He will pick a gluten free spring roll over a chicken finger every time. Biting bad guys is the funnest of games. Tracking is pretty cool too. The house is too hot because fur is for outside. Balls are life. There’s always time for head scratchies & ear noogies. Family is who you choose. & German Shepherds are stronger than we think 💕💕
