Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm is managed by its founders Donna & Berry Smith and supported by its many volunteers. We provide life saving care and make every effort to help animals recover from physical and mental abuse where needed, or provide a home in cases where owners are unable or unwilling to provide care. At the rescue petting farm the animals become very social and learn to trust again

. They have a very happy life at the farm and get to meet many families that come and visit annually. At Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm the animals have a purpose. Take Highway 41, North Highway 7, 21 Km, past Northbrook (7 Km past Petro Canada) Turn right on 506, 1 Km in. 1200 Road 506. 613-336-0330 Call for directions if needed. Thank You


The rescue is open July and Aug 7 days a week 11-3 Weekends during all other months. Adults $12.50
Children 12 and under $8.50
Ages 2 and under free
One bucket of carrots free for family of up to 5. Second bucket $5

To all our followers, supporters, volunteers and visitors: Due to health reasons, are rescue farm has been permanently closed and the animals will remain at another farm. The farmer who took them has decided he will not be opening up to the public. We want to thank everyone who visited or supported this farm in the past. It sadden us that people won't be able to visit the animals, but it is out of our control now. We hope that you will carry your fond memories with you for years to come. I know the animals are being well cared for and hope they will live out their lives in a loving home. Thank you. Donna & Barry Smith

Wirh great sadness, due to health reasons, Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm will be closed this season. The animals have been moved to another farm if you wish to visit them. Our beloved animals are doing well and love visitors. They are at 4864 Belrock Road, Verona just east of the town Enterprise. Contact Jim Crawford at 613 374-3602. Admission is by donation and please bring your own treats for the animals "Carrots, Apples, and Bread". He does not always answer his phone, but you can leave a message to let him know when you are coming. Any questions you can still reach us here at 613 336-0330. We still are accepting liquor and beer cans and bottles. All donation will reach the animals. Thank you for your understanding and hope you can visit them. Donna & Barry Smith

It is great sadness to us to mention Shelly Ann Lloyd, nee Forcier has suddenly past away. Born July 3, 1968 to April 1, 2024. Many have met Shelly as the Greeter at the farm, past cook at the Chineese restaurant in Cloyne and server at Sniders Restaurant. She will be sadly missed by us.

Meet the Herd!

🐖RUBY🐷
Ruby was supposed to be a micro-pig. She lived in her owner’s home until she grew to be 250 lbs at which point she was given to the rescue farm. Ruby acts like a dog; she barks, wags her tail and will even roll onto her back for a tummy rub. Ruby eats an assortment of fruit, vegetables, and warm porridge daily.

Tomorrow is Karma Friday, a fundraiser we hold on the last Friday of most months. We will be donating a portion of our sales to Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm.
Tomorrow is a great day to stop in and buy your pet food, treats for the long weekend, or a life jacket for boating adventures. Feel good knowing that a portion of your purchase wil be donated to this rescue helping animals in need.

Our Story

Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm is managed by its founders Donna & Barry Smith and supported by its many volunteers. We provide life saving care and make every effort to help animals recover from physical abuse, neglect or mental abuse where needed, or provide a home in cases where owners are unable or unwilling to provide care. At the rescue petting farm the animals become very social and learn to trust again. They have a very happy life at the farm and get to meet many families that come and visit annually. At Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm the animals have a purpose. We rely on donations, fund raisers and admission to support each animal that comes through our doors. Once here at the farm, a vet provides a treatment program for each animal. We provide a forever home at this farm. Sometimes the animals may not fully recover and we have on-going issues that need to be attended too. This is very costly and we seem to never be able to raise enough funds. We count on people to help us with these expenses.

Many say to us the that they would love to have a rescue farm, but are not able too. You can still make a difference, by donating your time, help fund raise, sponsor an animal or send a one time donation. Please share your pictures and experiences at the farm. This is the best advertising that we have. All money that is raised goes directly to the care of each animal that lives here. We never turn an animal away that needs our help. Thank you.

Take Highway 41, continue North past Highway 7, past Northbrook, once you see the Petro Canada, go north another 7 klm’s. Turn right on 506. Travel approx. 1 Klm.
