For all of those people who think that cats can survive when you drop them in the country, I would like to introduce this poor fellow, who just barely made his escape from the coyotes that roam this area.
Odin as I now call him after much coaxing made it on to the porch, and slowly his wounds are healing. He is now living in my basment, terrified to leave the house.
I don't for one moment regret taking him in,
He is the most affectionate cat I have had the pleasure of their company.
Please don't do this, most of the cats don't make it and die a horrible death.
I can't explain the excruciating sound of a dumped cat losing the fight with the coyotes, which happens way to often.

Tomorrow is the auction. The last few weeks 20+ horses have been shipping for meat each sale and the sale barn has been full. These include young, healthy horses, old work horses, pregnant mares, ponies and Standardbreds.
As long as the weather permits, we will be there! If you’re interested in helping out a horse, please message us with details on what you’re looking for, a budget and the best way to contact you. Or, if you are close by to Kitchener or Stratford and want to foster a horse, let us know.
Please keep in mind that we can only tell you if the horse *seems* sound/sane at the sale barn, we can’t guarantee anything a rarely get information on the horses history.
