It’s hard to believe we’re only two days away from our Colborne girls officially merging with our Brighton team. This shift is exciting, but it’s also incredibly sentimental for us.

Colborne was our very first studio, the little shop where we opened our doors over two years ago with a whole lot of hope and not much else. It’s the place where we did the most growing, where we found our rhythm, built our team, learned who we were as groomers, and became the Northumberland Grooming Co. that so many of you know, love, and trust today.

It was the foundation for everything: our skills, our standards, our reputation, our community impact… all of it started in that tiny Colborne studio.

So yes, this move is emotional. It’s the end of a huge chapter. But it’s also the start of an even bigger one.

We are so excited to bring our Colborne girls into our Brighton studio where we have:
• A much larger grooming space
• Lots of easy parking
• An accessible unit for every client
• Better workflow
• A fresh, bright environment
• And room to grow even more

Brighton is already such a happy home for us, and bringing the Colborne team under the same roof is going to make it even stronger.

Important Update from Northumberland Grooming Co.

After much thought, we’ve made the decision to close our Colborne studio effective December 1st and merge our team into our Brighton and Port Hope locations for now. This allows us to continue offering the same high-quality grooming experience our clients know and love while we take time to find the right new space in Colborne to reopen in the future.

If you currently have an appointment booked in Colborne, don’t worry, your booking will remain the same for now. A team member will be reaching out personally to see whether you’d prefer to visit our Brighton or Port Hope studio going forward.

To make travel easier:
• Port Hope is only 20 minutes from the Colborne 401 exit and 15 minutes from the Grafton exit.
• Brighton is 24 minutes from the Grafton exit and 15 minutes from Colborne.
Plus, for our Colborne clients, Brighton offers extra convenience with a grocery store right next door, perfect for running errands while your pup is being pampered.

We’re so grateful for the incredible support and loyalty shown to our Colborne studio over the years. It’s been an honour to grow with this community, and we can’t wait to welcome you at our nearby studios until we’re ready to open our doors in Colborne again.
