907 December grooms later! 908 if you include our girl, Lyra 😉 I have to say, this was my favourite Christmas season yet. The love, the kindness, the appreciation from clients was astounding. The organized chaos was absolutely perfect.
907 grooms since Dec 1st is an incredible accomplishment, and while we’re of the quality vs quantity mindset, this number reflects the work ethic, the sheer determination, the TEAMWORK we pride ourselves on. The NGCo. girls made all the difference this year. Each and every one of them stepped up in a HUGE way. I am so beyond proud and I am so grateful.

RIZZO - ADOPTED

Hi, I’m Rizzo, a 3-year-old terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give and a deep desire to be as close to my human as physically possible. I’m about 46 pounds, but I promise I’m convinced I’m a lap dog. I’m a mellow, gentle girl with a low-energy vibe, and my idea of a perfect day is lounging, following you around the house, and curling up for cuddles.

I lived with two cats for a bit and was completely unbothered by them, no chasing, no pestering, just peaceful coexistence. When it comes to other dogs I do take a bit to warm up so I will need a patient dog friend. I prefer a calm dog who will give me space to warm up. Honestly, I’d be perfectly happy as your one and only, but I could do well with the right laid-back. I love kids and think they’re wonderful!

I’m fully house trained! Not a single accident… I started to have some anxiety in my crate but when I was left out I just slept on the couch! I panic if I am in my crate alone. I have pretty big separation anxiety and will try to escape if I’m crated and alone, so I’ll need a family with patience, consistency, and a willingness to work with me. I’m quiet when you’re home, but when you leave I do whine a little until I realize I can just go have a nap and you will be coming back to snuggle with me.

I love car rides, especially sticking my head out the window… but please buckle me in! Toys are still a bit confusing for me, but a good chew bone keeps me happy.

A huge happy birthday to our girl Emily 🖤 Anyone who’s ever had their dog groomed by her knows how talented she is and how much she genuinely cares. She’s one of those groomers who notices every detail, treats every pup like her own, and somehow stays happy and bubbly even on our wildest days.

She is fiercely protective of her teammates and her client dogs. If your dog is with Emily, she’s advocating for them every second. She will genuinely go above and beyond every single time without ever being asked.

We love you and we’re so lucky to have you as part of NGCo. 🫶
