This girl needed some guidance on excitement regulation, barking at people approaching the front deck and barking in the vehicle. While speaking with the owner, I was able to bring clarity to her behaviours and teach the owner how to properly correct the behaviour. This girl is a gem of a dog!!

Hey guys, this is Pheonix. I worked with him to establish leash manners and reactivity as well as some behaviours he was exhibiting in the yard. I gave the family guidance on how to correct him properly, identify body language and the meanings behind the body language. Pheonix is still young and the world is so exciting to him. He is now on his way to success with a relaxed and structured method out on his walks or in the yard.

Hey guys, this is Fenix. He struggled with excitement regulation on leash and in the yard. I sat down with the family and was able to give them clarity on how to properly correct it and communicate with him in a way he would understand. We went over different energy levels, body language, leash corrections and so much more. Afterwards I worked with them hands on showing them how to properly correct him while on leash and how to correct him while out in the yard off leash.

Hello,

I am offering dog walking from union Bay Area to black creek. These walks will be 1 hour long. During the walks I will work on reactivity and leash etiquette. I will also have my personal dog there to help teach your dog balance and relaxation during the walks.

These walks will be leashed but if preferred can be unleashed trail walking too. Ideally I will be doing town/trail walking so I’m able to focus on the reactivity and etiquette in a busy area but unleashed walks will be held in the trails only.

Another sweetheart of a dog ❤️ Amongst many things, one of the most common things people call me about is leash etiquette/leash reactivity. This little one caught on to my directions and cues within seconds of stepping out the door. I was also able to give the owner cues on how to touch up on the dogs recall. These Australian shepherds are so smart!!

These guys were so fun to work with. They struggled with food guarding, excitment regulation, jumping and a little bit of etiquette when It came to playing respectfully.

Each of them were all such amazing dogs but needed a little more leadership to balance out their behaviours.

I’m so blessed and lucky to be able to do what I do for work. With one family at a time I’m bringing more peace and comfort.

Say hello to these cuties! They struggled with reactivity. They were extremely reactive on leash towards other dogs and very intense when company came by. I was able to provide the owners with guidance on these situations.

Quite often when dogs that are exhibiting poor behaviours, they just need a stronger leader. A huge part of what I do is teach you how to be the strong leader they need, the pack leader.

This is Miss Chandra!! A beautiful Great Pyrenees. I came to Chandra’s home to help with her reactivity on walks. I was able to give the owner some advice on recall, proper leash etiquette tips and dog introductions.

Since going there, they’ve brought Chandra to the beach and have had great interactions. They’ve hired me to take the dog for weekly one hour walks to continue on making positive experiences.

Today we decided to check out some seal bay trails and oh my gosh were they ever beautiful!! Trees covered with moss, awesome views and great interactions with about 5 or more other dogs this afternoon. Next week we will head to town for our walk. This will add an assortment of distractions with noises, people, dogs and vehicles!

Hey friends.. I’m very excited to announce that I will be opening an online shop for fresh baked dog treats, fresh turkey necks and dog leashes! I may add dog bandannas down the road as well. I am currently still in the process of getting everything together so I thought I would get the word out 🙂

Recently I added dog walking services to my business but I have also added dog sitting!! Everybody is different so the dog sitting services would vary per what the client needs.

Went for a little snow hike with the dogs today. This is a clients dog from my dog walking services. She was so cute! She has lots of excitement but was very good and got the hang of things about 15 mins into the walk! 🙂

This is one of Loci’s first walks during his stay with me. He is not a super reactive or pulling dog on the leash so I put most of my focus on making sure he stayed comfortable mentally as well as keeping him moving so he didn’t freeze up and go into flight mode. Focusing my energy on these two issues was more helpful for Loci so he could feel confident and comfortable during his walk. 🐕🙂

I had Roxy in my left hand and Loci in my right. By the end of the week they were buddies!

This is Loci. Before finding his new forever home he was living in a house with a ton of other dogs, not loved or taken great care of. When his new family adopted him he had come with some behavioural issues but that didn’t deter them. They wanted to do everything they could to help him live in peace mentally, and that’s when they called me 🙂

Loci would bark at the door, unless you were his mom, nobody (including husband) was able to pick him up, he didn’t feel comfortable being alone and would follow his new mom everywhere. Kids made him uncomfortable and sometimes he would try to nip when people got to close. He also was scared of bigger dogs. When I had a chance to meet him I could see right away that he was insecure. I could see that he needed to learn how to be comfortable in his own skin, and, learn that people, kids and noises are not to be worried about. That he was safe.

Loci stayed with me for 8 days. When I brought him back to his family they reached out to say how happy they were with they’re decision of bringing him to me and the big changes they saw in him.

These are just a few pictures. I will be making a separate post with videos I took. We also did some leash work. My daughter, Niece and nephew (all under the age of 7) were able to pet and hold Loci. He was sleeping right next to my trusty co-worker Roxy and at one point trying to get her to play. I’m very proud of the progress and hurdles Loci was able to overcome, good job buddy!!! ❤️🧘‍♀️👏👌

This is Adele. She is a Boston Terrier. She’s a super loving and playful girl but needed to be taught how to regulate her excitement levels with her owner, other dogs and her leash etiquette needed a little touching up during our appointment.

By teaching the owner how to understand Adele’s body language, how to properly correct the behaviour and how to communicate with the dog in a way Adele would understand was key !

I’m super happy I was able to give them guidance. Helping people feel more confident with they’re dogs is one of the best parts of my job ❤️

Meet Waylon! He struggled with jumping on people, barking and high levels of excitement. After talking with his owner I was able to bring understanding to her about his behaviours, how to correct them and prevent them from happening in the future.

I like to think of dogs the same as children in the sense that we teach them and guide them through life. Dogs need leadership and I teach you how to be that calm and confident leader!

This floofer struggled with lots of reactivity at the door and was a little reactive on leash. He would also pull a lot for the first little bit of the walk before slowing down. During this appointment I was able to shine some light on his behaviours and teach the human how to communicate to the dog. To show the dog it doesn’t need to worry about people at the door, to go relax.

There are no bad dogs in this world.. just dogs who need stronger leaders and I’m here to help and teach you how to be that strong leader that your dog needs!

This is Chewy… short for Chewbaca! This sweet boy struggled with high excitement levels. He jumped on people at the door and did not respect boundaries of personal space. After sitting with the couple I was able to shine some light on his behaviours and how to properly correct them.

Just like children, it’s important to set boundaries as well as guide and teach them how to be respectful. Now that this couple is able to communicate with Chewy things will be going a lot smoother!

Loci thriving during his walk!!

This is one of Loci’s first walks during his stay with me. Luna’s progress !

This was a client of mine and her dog Luna. Before the appointment with me her dog Luna would be all over the place pulling and barking , being reactive on the leash. Luna also had high excitement levels at the door when people came over. During our appointment I was able to give the owner understanding of Lunas behaviour at the door and how to correct it. We then went outside to do some leash work. With dedication and consistency she now has Luna walking with much better leash etiquette and full attention! I always encourage adoption. There are so many dogs out there that needs homes. Too many, unfortunately. Sometimes adopting dogs can be tough because you have to work through some old habits or behavioural issues. The thing is, when the dog is doing these unwanted behaviours (barking, jumping, being territorial, reactivity etc) it’s not that the dog wants to be doing it, it just doesn’t know that’s it’s okay not to do it. It may not know how or understand what it is that you expect or want from them or that he/she is safe and doesn’t need to worry or react to such things. A huge thing during my appointments with all of my clients is teaching them what the dog is communicating to them, why he’s acting the way he is and how to communicate back to the dog in a way that it understands. The way a dog mother communicates to its pups. Yes, adopting a dog has a risk factor of it coming with behavioural issues but I am here to help and they all deserve a second chance to live a loving and happy life! Say hello to Kovu guys!!

Hello my fellow dog lovers! This sweet dog is with me for the week to work on his reactivity, leash etiquette, some territorial issues and some food aggression. So far we’ve made huge progress and it’s only the morning of day three! Right now we are off for a good hike to burn off some of his energy. Afterwards, we will continue to work on the areas he struggles with. Today’s game plan for Kovu is to work on his food aggression and some more work with eye contact and respect at the door.
