Happy Women’s Day!

01/08/2024

Many pet parents are totally oblivious to the dangers these items pose. So you're quite likely to have many if not all these hazards in your home right this very moment. Removing them could spare your dog injury - and you considerable heartache and financial deficit.

🐾 Hope for Pets With Malignant Mast Cell Tumors 🌟

Mast cell tumors are quite common, accounting for about 20% of all skin tumors in dogs. 🐕 It’s characterized by a bump or a lesion of some kind, often found on the trunk, the limbs and between the toes.

If your pet has a mast cell tumor and you’re considering a keto diet, I recommend working with a keto-knowledgeable health professional. They can help guide you through the dietary change safely and offer other nutraceutical strategies that may help improve your pet’s prognosis. 👍

Embrace the Power of Organ Meats as Treats or Toppers to Elevate Your Pet’s Health 🐕🐈

Organ meats are highly digestible, have high nutrient density and an excellent nutritional profile. 🌟 Adding small amounts (less than 10% of daily calories) of various organ meats to your pet’s bowl are an effective way to boost the nutrient content of their food. 👍My pets’ favorite; beef and chicken hearts.

Does your dog nibble all day long? 🐶 Consider exploring intermittent fasting. A popular variation of this is feeding your pooch’s daily calories within 6 to 8 hours, also known as time-restricted feeding, or creating an “eating window”. 🕒🥣 Research shows it may help improve their cognitive function and overall health. 🧠🐕

❗Note: Time-restricted feeding is not recommended for growing puppies, lactating females, senior and geriatric dogs, dogs with health conditions for which creating an “eating window” is contraindicated, and small toy breeds prone to hypoglycemia, usually less than 3 pounds. ❌

Congratulations to Tucker, a 7 year-young puppy. Tucker used to be so afraid of everything and was very uncertain about to trust his new environment or not. He was newly adopted by his amazing mom, Isabella from a very difficult past. He used to react at dogs and people uncomfortable because he had a trust issue. But, after 2 months of consistency and practicing he now can trust his world and stay neutral when he sees dogs and people outside. He is a very smart dog who needed someone to assure him he is safe and protected. It is never too late for any dog to change their emotional response.
