Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre The Ontario SPCA for the Stormont, Dundas and & Glengarry area is our local Animal Adoption Centre.

Located at 550 Boundary Road in Cornwall, is conviently located for all your Animal Adoption concerns and volunteer opportunities. There are many ways in which you can volunteer with the OSPCA during business hours, such as:

-Helping Weekly Saturday Bingo
-Fostering
-Cleaning
-Fundraising
-Cat Socializing
-Dog Walking
-Bathing/Grooming

High School Students Only:
-Work Towards Finishing your 40 H

ours of Community Service by Volunteering on Weekends

Other ways you can make a positive contribution to this Animal Adoption Centre is by donating money, collecting and bringing in empty pop bottles, donating bags of shredded paper, donating used items to sell at their annual Yard Sale and Participating in Fundraising Events.

When you’re excited about a holiday like Easter, it can be easy to overlook potential dangers for our furry friends. This is why the ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Centre (APCC) put together this list of potential hazards so you can be prepared!

Chocolate is one of the top concerns, along with plastic Easter grass, spring plants like lilies, and fertilizers. Ingesting these can lead to anything from stomach upset to serious health issues.

3) A collar and leash, or carrier for transport home.
4) A payment of impound, license and/or reclamation fee

A happy adoption update about Beau and Havoc from their family:

I have attached some pictures of Havoc and Beau who we adopted a little over three weeks ago! They are doing great and these two have bonded so well, true brothers!
Beau (previously Fergus) is already weighing 26 pounds at the vet! He will be a big sweet heart! Havoc is such a sweet boy and loves his walks in the bush near our house!

"It’s been a year since we adopted Murphy and I just wanted to let you know he’s doing amazing! When we got him, he was afraid of everything and everyone, but now he’s much more confident and even tries to get pets from strangers. He loves mud puddles, tug, playing with his doggie friends, and most of all - food!"
