A happy adoption update from Tater Tot and his new forever family!

"Tator tot has really taken to our family. He has his routine of when he likes to be fed. He likes chasing his laser light and chasing his toy fishing rod.
He loves to sit on your tummy or directly beside you. He likes to hide under blankets and cozy up. He loves drinking water from the tap and meows so you will turn on the tap for him"

As temperatures rise, so does the risk for animals left in hot vehicles or outside without proper care. This summer, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is calling on all animal lovers to help protect our furry friends by taking the No Hot Pets pledge.

Pets can quickly overheat in parked vehicles—even on mild days and even with the windows cracked. Animals left outside without proper shade or fresh water are also at serious risk. There is no excuse for leaving pets in dangerous conditions.

By taking the No Hot Pets pledge, you're speaking up for those who can't. You'll also get access to free resources and digital tools to help spread the word. Enter the No Hot Pets contest before August 31 for your chance to win a YETI summer prize pack.

Take the pledge. Share the message. Save a life. Visit https://bit.ly/nohotpet_2025
