My husband Scott really loves beer. We all know that alcohol is extremely dangerous for our pets, so what was Scott to do when his best furry friend looked up at him with those sweet, spoiled, puppy dog eyes, hoping to share just a bit of the best tasting thing to ever hit her floppy lips? We made her some of her very own brew of course! This summer time, music and drinks on the deck, lightbulb mo
ment required a lot of research folks. We needed to figure out how to make an animal ale that would include healthy and nutritional ingredients, have NO hops or alcohol, but still have a taste that dogs love. Harley had to do a lot of taste testing - she loved it. (We had to do a lot of taste testing too - we don't want to talk about it). The result was a crafted beer made just for our perfect canine - a perfect Canine Craft. Homemade beef bone broth, spinach, blueberries, and turmeric - all Canadian sourced and all human grade - are added to every batch of this heavenly hound h***h. There isn't anything in it that we wouldn't eat ourselves or feed to our children or friends. (Don't worry, we won't feed this to you when you come for a visit). No, its not carbonated - your dog doesn't really like the bubbles anyway. Can you drink it? Yes! We test every batch! Will you like it? Absolutely not! Remember, its made for your dogs palette - not yours. So go ahead! Let your barking buddy have their beer and tummy rubs too.

Oh boy it’s a hot one! We are lucky as heck living in BC and having access to glacier streams right in our town. We kept the dog beer cold until we ended our walk, and Harley can’t wait to crack a cold one!

- DON’T leave your pets in a hot car (duh!)
- DON’T leave your pets outside without ample shade.
- DO leave your pets indoors if you have a/c.
- DO ensure your pet has access to water and other healthy hydrating treats like cold Canine Craft (see what we did there - insert “wink” here).
