OKAY …. Who is ready for this cuteness overload!? 😱 Niko has hit the adoption platforms and our hearts can’t take how adorable he is.

Location: Leduc, AB

Niko is a spunky, fun loving Chihuahua who is ready to join your home! He’s good with dogs all sizes, but he can’t quite understand the whole cat thing so a cat free home is best for this fella. He’s untested with kids, is likely fine but due to the fact that he’s itty bitty, older dog savvy kids is preferred.

We want to congratulate David, the winner of our January 2025 Step Up Challenge 🙌 David was an incredible inspiration (and motivator!) of all our steppers, he raised $450 for dogs in need AND took home a $450 jackpot 💰

David not only helped us run an incredible fundraiser, he’s also a member of beardedvillainsalberta, a group of bearded men who are set out to change the stigma over bearded, tattooed men and make Alberta a better place through charity. He also gives tribute to his adorable rescue pup Jack who keeps him motivated.

This fundraiser was SO much fun and a great success, so we are hosting another starting April 1st!! 🐾 Stay tuned for the sign up information.

This Saturday, Feb 15th, we will be hanging out at Animal World in Medicine Hat with some of our adoptable dogs 🐾 Chica, Journey and Winter are ready to meet you and find out if you could be their perfect match!

Please note, our rescue does not do on site adoptions, but the team can assist you in competing an adoption application and walk you through our adoption process.

We will also be accepting donations of food, toys and blankets ❤️

Bonded Pair Alert! 🚨

Polly and Patty have officially hit the adoption platforms 🙌 How cute are these two!?

Size: 15lb & 18lb
Breed: Dachshund and Schnauzer mixes
Dogs: Yes!
Cats: No, unless extremely dog savvy (they chase to play)
Kids: 8+ years old only because they might knock little ones over with their play.

This adorable bonded pair are looking for a fun loving home who will join in on their play and offer lots of cuddles! 🥰 They are kennel trained, friendly and have almost mastered their house training. Winter visited Coaldale Pet Clinic for her second puppy vaccines yesterday 🐾 She was a rockstar and did so good! Thank you to their team for taking such good care of her.
