It was this time last year a feral mom and 5 kittens were seen crawling out from under my back porch. My neighbour and I decided to feed them. By winter 3 kittens and the mother were living with me.
They should have had vet appointments by April for spay neuter but the covid crisis caused veterinarian closures.
April 9 the original mother, Mummie, gave birth to 3 kittens and one of her daughters, MissScara gave birth to 2 kittens, all under the light of the super Pink Full Moon.
Then May 7, under the light of a Super Moon, the other daughter, CutiePie, gave birth to 3 kittens.
Although Ontario allowed vets to open, spay neuter procedures here in Peterborough were not available. We have luckily been on Operation Catnip’s waiting list.
However, in the meanwhile, Mummie gave birth to 9 on July 20 and MissScara gave birth to 4 July 28.
Since April 3 mothers have produced 21 kittens.
8 kittens are ready for immediate adoption.
13 more will be ready for adoption by Thanksgiving.
Would you love one? Or two?
Socialized, house trained, litter and scratch post savy.
Serious enquires please.
$100 adoption fee helps spay the mothers.
If adopted in Peterborough region kittens will qualify for a spay neuter reduced fee through Operation Catnip.
Spay neuter suggested by 5 months old as pregnancies start 5 - 6 months old!
Please schedule a bonding session and come see who is perfect for your home!
