🏡We are currently recruiting new foster homes!
Have you ever wanted to have a dog but can't commit to adoption because of finances or other obligations? Or, have you ever wanted to be a part of something meaningful? Fostering can be a great way to enjoy the companionship of a dog temporarily!

At the moment, we only have 2-3 foster homes for large breed dogs, and we have a LONG list of larger dogs waiting to come into the rescue, but we have nowhere for them to go. That's where you come in!

We will provide you with all the supplies you need to care for your foster dog plus 1 on 1 coaching along the way with our foster team. You just provide the home and the love!

❤ It's been 106 days and counting since I arrived here at CDHS.
🧐 Did you know, most dogs have 18 toes (if you count the dewclaw) so that means I've counted all of my adorable toe beans 6 times over!
Don't worry, I'll keep counting until my family comes along! ❤

PHOEBE HAS BEEN FOUND!!

Sheltie missing from Goderich area...

Pheobe is still missing from.

Saturday night fireworks scared her off from the campground here along the Maitland River. (Shelter Valley)
Almost half the campground have been searching for her, including farms and river areas.
There was talk of a grey van in farthest corner where Pheobe went running towards. This van was seen to open and close the door and then leave at the beginning of the fireworks. We won't stop until we find her!
She is 4 months old and was wearing her harness and had her purple leash.
She is light in colors with a black blob of color on her tail.

Going into week 2 of illness. Had chest X-rays today and told to stay on bed rest and fluids. Next week is not looking promising.

I have been closed for a week due to a terrible flu. Tested negative for Covid but no end in sight. May have to continue recovering this week. Please be patient with me as I go through this. If you have upcoming appointments and can postpone please let me know. I’m trying to accommodate all cancelled appointments first.
