Just back from the Western Canadian Farrier's Association fall conference.
The speakers were great this year. David Varini AWCF from Scotland and Randy Luikart from the USA.
The lectures were very thought provoking with a lot of great information to put to use.
Two conferences in two weeks has been a lot but to take in. It's a great way to improve and learn by listening and watching those more skilled and knowledgeable than you. It's a bit humbling at times when what you think you know is challenged.

So I'm just home from the Ontario Farriers Association fall convention where I had a chance to speak to the OFA membership about the AFTC exams.

Key note Speaker Doug Russo and Judge Ben Mangan were fantastic.
I also got to build a fire poker with Doug Russo and participate in the match play. Thanks to the OFA for all their hard work, you guys run a great event!
