Im reaching out and asking for help in facilitating the sale of my horses that are currently under a legal dispute to the rocky 6s ranch.
There is an agreement in the works to purchase but they are unwilling to transfer the money to me until I have signed the bill of sale. I am very uncomfortable with this situation considering the horses are already in the care of the rocky 6s ranch.
Please let me know if you can help me advocate for myself in this situation.
Thanks in advance, Paula Bechard

Trained for driving and starting recently under saddle. very beautiful and smart but a bit shy but we have been working on that. She got in with the stallion this week so possibly bred but way to early to determine.
Located near Beaumont
Please inquire for price and details

Due to a series of unfortunate events, I will be looking at downsizing and finding homes for a number of horses there is no rush but its time for me to focus on improving and taking myself. Its been difficult and I've hard a hard time keeping up with things and working. I was not prepared for the journey the horses would take me on when I first got them. I really just wanted a companion for my pony , I was given an opportunity and I really enjoyed it all but its time for me to leave it to others who are much better suited then myself. Im still super grateful for the experience.

3 year old stallion
2 mares
1 filly foal
1 yearling c**t

Please have decency with your offer, will give preference and negotiate for homes with children

🥰So nice to see my horses after not hearing anything, I really went insane trying to represent myself in court to get them back and be paid for Jinx and jellybean. Ugh the money i wasted fighting for them. I dont know what happened to the foals but I'm just so grateful for that Rocky 6s has step up and offering the free boarding! What a blessing 🙏

🥰My heart is so full right now ,
Rocky 6s Caspians has done the most wonderful act of kindness regarding the horses under legal dispute and the news couldn't have come at a better time.

Thank you for your generous offer to winter Kristull Qite Lite and the mares and getting them the vet care they need.

Its so nice to have a well respected breeder extend a hand of support and kindness

Feels really nice after all the trauma I went through after the last couple years.

I can rest a little easier knowing they are safe and I can continue my healing. 🥲

The roof has been on the back burner for too long , luckily we have a few shelters to use.

Well I think are going to be calling Baby Festus Junior.

What a handsome little part bred Caspian horse he is becoming.

His father Festus is a very handsome Quarter horse and I knew both of his parents

Festus and his Mother Honey were the second and third horses we aquired on the farm a few years ago.

Its so great to still have a piece of them here

I occasionally work for an elderly person, helping them with their property.
They were going to dispose this statute but I just had to keep her because at times, I too am a headless woman 🤭😅🤣😂

I didn't even realize I was being stalked and sabotaged until more then one person mentioned it 🙃

Im just here living my best life, being grateful for the life I have created from nothing.

You help me realize im no where as mentally ill as you and your family 🙏❤

With a time line just like the
Caspian horses, I have all the inspiration I need, we aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

You can't make someone insane if they already are.

Ugh still battling lice over here, the vet recommended CyLence after I tried dusting powder.

Have you ever had a lice break out? I've come to realize we've probably had it for a long time.

With the 10 year anniversary of a car accident I was involved in next month, needing to go back to work and working up the courage to ride, and still dealing with the adventures from last month , ive been experiencing a mix of a lot of big feels

I had to take a step back from hosting tours and looking at full time employment or anything that requires a serious decision because over the years I've learned that rest, recovery and processing time are some of the most important things you can give yourself.

It was incredibly lucky I survived a head on collision, I was traveling to work on the whitemud freeway at 100km an hour when I was struck by a vehicle that had lost control traveling the opposite direction.

My beautiful and rare two door manual transmission jeep did not come with an air bag and the top part of the seat belt locking mechanism helped me meet my jeep on a deep and impact full way that changed me for the rest of my life.

I remember seeing headlights in front of me and looking in the back seat and feeling relieved my daughter was not in the vehicle, next I was awakened by sound of someone opening my door and the sound of blood trickling from my now damaged nose

I got really scared when they asked me to participate in a brain study and convinced myself that I was ok and left the hospital which caused me to not get the proper care I needed for a number of reasons. I was not in any condition to be making decisions and had no one to help me make them. I didn't realize or want to accept how badly injured I was

Universal health care is terrible and I have always struggled to be understood.

Im beyond grateful for the couple people who helped

It took more then a year to be able to walk properly , I went back to work way to soon.

A real big bag of mixed emotions, lately with every one valid and valuable, sadness, grief, gratitude

Maybe it should be Happy Birthday instead of Happy anniversary

Hi excuse me ponies, but why are you on the wrong side of the fence this morning ?

What made you leave the safety of the pasture??

Did someone or something scare you?
I noticed the electric fence was tampered with

I have the best horses who never go far, who never need halters or ropes to return to the pasture they are supposed to be in. I suppose they enjoy their lives here

Yes you heard right Freddie, my daughter wants to keep you 😬🤭🥰

Ugh the toughest part of producing Caspians is saying no to my daughter and knowing we don't make them for ourselves but for others to enjoy.

Almost everyday I think of the foals I have produced and my horses under a legal dispute.

As someone who has been a loner and isolated most of my life they really are my family. Being neurodivergent means I feel emotions 10x stronger then neurotypical people. While that makes difficult emotions hard for me to control and regulate, I also feel joy and happiness much deeper. My horses and daughter are a large price of my heart ❤

😋One of my favorite things about the Caspian horse is their size.
Being smaller myself ive always been a pony lover and their hay needs are a lot less then a horse.
They do not eat much which makes them very affordable!
I actually spend more of my money on my cigarette habit then hay which is pretty terrible 😬🤭😅 Hearing it is more difficult for neurodivergent people to quit smoking maybe me feel a bit better about my failed attempts at breaking an addiction and habit. An addict is an addict regardless of clean time. 🥲

Almost hard to believe this is the same foal 🧐

Just a few short weeks ago its legs were white.

Im still learning about coat colors , but I have always enjoyed the foal camouflage and the beautiful changes they go through.

Any guesses about what color this foal is?

Nouvel article : Les chevaux sensibles à notre tristesse ! (1/2)

🥰I purchased Ziba for a number of reasons

I have dealt with Jody in the past and I have a lot of respect for her and her husband. Ziba will go back to Jody and her husband if I can no longer provide for her.

Two years ago Jody brought me Zamira in trade for breeding Ziba and Anar with Kristull Qite Lite. I had to send the mares home early because Lite was behaving like a teenage boy and I got a little worried about the effects of too much you know what 🤭☺😊😁🤣😂

I bought Ziba to help me get over the devastating emotional and financial loss my other horses and not being able to defend myself in the court of law.

I also purchased Ziba for 5000$ to help the retain and hold its value because they are priceless in my humble opinion

While others have worked hard to devalue, steal and talk down others on selling price
With holding registration and spreading lies about registration eligibility. I will continue to make good contributions to the Caspian horse, by hosting educational farm tours , offering lessons in the future and by raising babies with a solid family and positive foundational experiences with the world

🌞 Enjoying the sun and my morning coffee with Sophie 🥰

Feeling grateful talking care of the animals and doing the school run.

I owe
a big thanks for helping me get where I am today! For it was you who encouraged me 🥲

You flying to Ontario to try and help me retrieve the horses and the stock trailer still means a lot and I still feel bad about abandoning and running away from the farm.

One of the few men who didn't take anything from me.

We contributed to each others lives and im proud and grateful for those experiences.

I am happy knowing you have your special person now and I can see why, she is a bad ass woman and a much better fit for you then myself 🤭😁😂🙏

😊Yup thats me!
10 years old 1993
I was born obsessed with horses ! I did not grow up on a farm or have any relatives with a farm. We did live in the country when my parents were still together.

I was a handful as a child.
Always in trouble for something and always facing some cruel punishment and treatment, while no one knew understood or cared that I has suffered brain damage when I fell out of a tree I was climbing.

I didn't know either until I started having seizures at around 16 or 17 years of age. I was diagnosed with epilepsy causes my scar tissue on my brain 🧠 I thought I was just stupid and unlikable and that I would never be able to be understood or control myself

This is part of the reason I do what I do, its never been about making money, its about giving myself the life I deserved. Please don't ever be jealous or think that you can't do it either

"She can't afford it"
honestly I can't afford not to do it.

🥰Last month two people have returned to the farm to stay,
my daughter moved back in unexpectedly and this beautiful caspian horse mare Ziba!

I purchased Ziba a few weeks ago.
She was also part of the group of Caspians at the Alberta auction years.

Shes been here to the farm once before to make babies with Kristull Qite Lite two years ago.
That was a really fun experience and Lite enjoyed himself so much 🤭😂🤣😊

Ziba is fully trained to drive and I have been introducing her to the saddle.
Really looking forward to riding her i haven't riden since I rode AMFs FelFel Talieh in Ontario 🥲

We're here at the Washington State Fair! The first day is winding down and we've seen a lot of action at our booth - the three day weekend has yet to start and our inventory is already low! There've been a lot of questions about where Caspians come from, if this is as tall as they get, etc. We even had a model horse artist stop by to gather information on the breed. If you're in the area, stop by and visit us!

In the stall is JPH Shakana Mehraban and pictured on the banner: rider Annika Greaney on Cascadia Aspas.

08/26/2022

The horse pictured here is genetically predisposed to equine metabolic syndrome (EMS) and was given free choice, unlimited access to hay. He developed obesity, hyperinsulinemia, and ultimately insulin-induced laminitis. When he could no longer stand, hay was kept in front of him 24/7.

After getting a hay analysis, the owner was advised how much to feed based on actual energy requirements (calories consumed vs. calories expended), to weigh the hay, and to use slow feeders. When the horse was sound, the owner scattered the hay over several acres. The horse made a full recovery and achieved his ideal weight in 9 months.

For weight loss, a good rule of thumb is to feed 1.5% of current weight, or 2.0% of ideal body weight in hay (lbs/day), whichever is more. Example: Overweight horse of 1200 lbs, ideal weight is 1000 lbs. [1200 lbs x 0.015 = 18 lbs/day; 1000 lbs x 0.02 = 20 lbs/day]. Use of slow feeders or small hole hay nets will slow consumption. Want to hear something embarrassing? When signing up for the Mongol Derby, my idea was to train the horses there and maybe even give a tip or two to the nomads😆

Truth is, they trained me....

To let go!

Riding looks real easy when the nomad kids are doing it, but it`s not. The semi wild horses of Mongolia have very sharp senses, you even think control and they make sure to dump you off, in one way or the other🐎

This made me very aware of how natural it was for me, as a European rider, to micromanage horses🐴

In addition it’s dangerous. The steppe has millions of rabbit holes hidden in the grass and horses need freedom of movement to jump over, or to the side of these holes. If not, the dream gallop over the grass planes quickly ends in a somersault🐎💨

The horses kept making this clear to me and the nomads too. Somewhere in Mongolia, exhausted beyond my senses I had a revealing experience of unity with horses, coming from doing less and letting go✨

As a result, I began to do things differently after I got back home to Norway. Both my horses and other`s blossomed with this new mindset of connection not control✨

The Mongol Derby was a transforming experience that gave a new perception of horses and life, that I have been exploring ever since✨

Do you want to know more about the 1 000 km ride on semi-wild horses that changed my life?

Make sure to tune in tomorrow, Wednesday. If you have any questions, leave them in a message, comment below or join live on Facebook 9 pm (Norwegian time). I'd be more than happy to answer!

In Canada June is brain injury awareness month, a topic that is near and dear to my heart because of my own experience

In Canada, brain injury is the number one killer and disabler of people under the age of 44.

Acquired brain injury may result in a diminished or altered state of consciousness, and result is impaired cognitive, physical, emotional and/or behavioural functioning.Currently, there are no drugs or techniques that can cure a brain injury.

Some people have been asking where I have been.

My Father was my greatest supporter of my love for horses. Although we lived in the country horse ownership was not obtainable for my Father but that did not stop him from fostering my love of horses. On my 7th birthday my Father rented some ponies for the day, one of my fondest memories.

March 4 2022 I received the devastating news that my Father had passed away.

He was coming to visit me and the horses the next day.

I was so excited and proud to finally have my Father see the fruits of my labour and to see me living my dream.

After his death I was so stricken with grief.

Most of my close friends know that I am living with mental illness and recovering from a brain injury which sometimes makes navigating life very difficult.

If you have a friend or loved one living with a mental health condition know that I pray for you.
