After many… many… MANY days of putting this off I have finally got my first video done and posted. I rarely make videos, and it shows. My time with two of my newest clients, Morticia and Wednesday! (Such great names ☺️). These two were adorable together, Morticia is a distinguished senior lady and Wednesday is just over a year old. They are quite the dynamic duo! They loved wrestling, playing with toys together and always made sure I was watching to make sure who won! We had plenty of time outside in the backyard to run around and went on all the walks. I visited them 3 times a day and they were very well behaved with their family being away. Especially since mom works from home and is around most of the time. Annnnd Wednesday is still so young! Like many other cats, my kitties, Pippen and Axel are not the biggest fans of their cat carriers.
This happened today! 🎉🥳
I am excited to report, after doing some training with high value treats (licky tubes), giving them regular treats in the carriers and putting toys in there as well, Pippen seems to have warmed up to the idea that it isn’t a bad place. 🤩
We also have their carriers in the living room among all their toys and snuffle mat to entice them to hang out there.
My partner and I also spend a lot of time in the living room so they can still see what’s going on and keep an eye on us haha.
Pippen and Axel’s vaccine appointment is coming up at the vet so I am going to practice loading them up in their carriers and taking them to the car a week or so in advance so it won’t be such a big deal for them, like it normally is.

This month I got to hang out with Bentley! He’s a 5 and a half month old puppy although, I liked to call him “a tiny bear cub”! 😍 Bentley’s parents were planning on going on a trip but weren’t sure if they could find a suitable pet sitter that could give the personalized care they required. Since Bentley is so young they needed 24 hour care for him. So, I packed my bags and had a 4 day sleepover with this little precious pup. Needless to say we had a blast together and he was just the sweetest and bestest boy! 🐶🐾❤️He even lost a few baby teeth during my stay and I actually found them before I stepped on them haha! Meet Theo and Gertie! ❤️ I got the chance to hang out with these two a couple weekends ago and we had a blast! Theo aka Theodore, the gray gentleman is a big ball of energy that is super affectionate and quite a character. He is a little over a year old and his parents adopted him from a shelter. Gertie aka Gertrude, who I have nicknamed “Strawberry shortcake” is one of the sweetest cats I’ve met. She loves to lay in her window bed while she keeps an eye on the neighbourhood. She is also adopted and is about the same age as Theo but she was the first kitty in the household. T & G’s pawrents had special instructions I needed to do including medicine administration and a daily routine that I was able to follow in order for them to feel the most comfortable.
