#2 Keep fur off your furniture
Most people allow their pets to hop on their furniture, sit and lie there. This keeps them close to you. However, it also means having their fur all over the couch, which can be difficult to remove. How do you keep your furniture immaculate if you have a pet?

Thanks to our immense love for our fur babies, we humans have developed many options. A few choices are to use slipcovers, sheets, and blankets. You can also get the covers custom-made to match the rest of the dƩcor in the home.

We had a crazy busy day picking out a special new friend! Murray had some pretty bad anxiety and was feeling very distructive today. Once he had his toy home he felt much better. Sometimes a stop at the local toy store is all they need to feel better.
Murray has been missing his family, though Iām a good substitute Iām not what he wanted. To help him with his big feelings, we went on an adventure. Heās soooo happy now and even discovered it makes funny noises!! ...

#3 Make dry food more palatable:
If you have ever owned a dog, you know that there are several types of dog food; kibble or dry dog food, moist food, semi-moist food, and frozen or freeze-dried dog food. Dry dog food can sometimes be difficult for our canines to eat.

You can easily make it more palatable by adding in some warm water. Softening the food, making it easier to nibble on and chew, is amazing for dogs with sensitive teeth. Keep this in mind because it might be beneficial in the future.
Now I lay me down to sleep, in seconds I'll have fallen deep! My human went to take a p*e and now her bed belongs to me!
When the replacement human figures out exactly where your spots are, life is good! š¾ā¤š¾

The theory of dog parks is fantastic, however for the vast majority it is not a suitable solution. understanding the proās and conās is essential. Described as a kindergarten with no teacher in sight, dog parks can quickly devolve into anarchy with each dog that joins or leaves the group. Very few dogs actually should go to the park due to temperament or training reasons. If you choose to go to a dog park take precautions.
Always make sure your dog is:
Up to date with all vaccinations, flea/tick treatment and deworming.
Has an excellent recall.
Comes to the park with the right mind set.
Wants to be there.
Does not bully or show aggressive signs towards others nor is too submissive.
You should:
Understand canine body language.
Advocate for your dog, including leaving before there is an issue.
Understand the risk.
Choose quieter times.
Ensure your dog recalls no matter what.
Have your canine first aid and kit.
We do not suggest dog parks, however if you choose to use them be safe out there!
When you canāt believe it snowed AGAIN! š¤£
Drive safe out there!! Itās blowing snow covering blank ice in my neighbourhood.
Itās the perfect way to end a long evening walk, snuggles on the human lap while they have a sleep over! Finnegan is one heck of a happy boy!
After spending a full day with some incredible pups, we ended it with some recalling at sunset!
Tired dogs are happy dogs!
Having a job that provides both mental and physical stimulation is important for their wellbeing. Training and exercise help with most behaviours.
If you spend any time watching dogs and their behaviour you can quickly start to see some behaviours dogs are using to communicate. A lot of owners mistake a wagging tail for a āhappy dogā, however this couldnāt be further from the truth. Itās all about the whole dog and the way their complete body language. A stiff body and stiff wagging tail is NOT friendly. This is a sign of dominance as they sort out the pecking order. If neither dog backs down, a fight will break out. Stressed or anxious dogs are just as likely to feel the need to defend themselves.
The fact is, not every dog enjoys the dog park or dog daycare. Forcing your dog into these environments without understanding what you dog is saying, can be to itās detriment. Keep your dog safe and understand what they are saying yo you and to others. Dogs are as individual as humans, letās treat them that way!
āMy doggo lady took me out for a super awesome hike through the valley for a hour and a half today!! Couldnāt be a happier boy if I tried!

After five yearsļæ¼ of working with this dogļæ¼, we got to enjoy our first walk at a heel without pullingļæ¼. From where he started to where he has today is such a massive difference. This dog was extremely fearful and had no idea how to be appropriate on leash. His owners were first time owners and he was a lot of dog even for someone with experience. I am so blessed to have met these people and Simba and I am so sad to say goodbye.ļæ¼ļæ¼
