After treating primarily Humans with Bowen Therapy for the past 13 years, I have decided to continue my studies in order to be able to offer this wonderful treatment to your Fur, Wool, Feather, or scaley babies, as no animal is too big or small to receive Bowen Therapy. Bowen Therapy is best described as a series of gentle manipulations made over Muscles, Tendons, Ligaments, and Nerve bundles. The

se manipulations activate your animal’s body to heal on its own through the Autonomic Nervous System. Unlike Massage Therapy, Bowen’s gentle movements work into your animals deepest tissues to aid and accelerate healing, often profoundly. Whether your Animal has undergone major surgery, minor injury, or maybe your senior just needs a tune up, Bowen can offer calming relief. Bowen works with many different ailments that are Physical, Structural, Mental, or Emotional in nature. Bowen Therapy is Neurological Restoration. Neurological means that your animal is being treated from the Nervous System out. Using this science based method of connecting to the Central Nervous system your animal not only improves, but improves quickly. By approaching your animal’s issue via direct communication with the Central Nervous System. This allows the Brain and the Nervous System to reconnect, allowing pathways to reset and restore proper function. This extremely gentle manipulation will increase your animal's energy, provide tissue release and relaxation for less stiffness throughout the body, restoring your animal's mobility and vitality, and creating a calm demeanor. It can also help with things such as Anxiety, Focus, and over all alertness.

Last Month I had an amazing opportunity to spend an afternoon out at Halfmoon Farm with a great friend and photographer Stephanie with Together, along with these beautiful animals we were able to capture the diversity of animals that Bowen Therapy can work for. Its not just for humans, cats, and dogs, but it is for all Mammals, birds, and even reptiles that may be in need of holistic care.

Huge Thank you goes out to the wonderful staff and family who own/run the Halfmoon Farm, for a guided tour of their farm, introduction to their beautiful, calm, and well cared for animals, and for allowing me the opportunity to offer their animals a little bit of Bowen Therapy. It is truly a place for all families and animal lovers alike.

The farm is currently closed for the season, but will open up again for tours in May 2025 and they come highly recommended. Make sure to give them a follow, check out their Facebook/Instagram pages for extra activities and booking information for the 2025 season.

Meet Roxy! Despite having 2 bionic knees, Roxy doesn’t slow down, she loves to chase her ball, swim at the lake, and chase the frogs out on the Acreage. However, she does get a little stiff in the back end from time to time. A restriction in joint movement due to the plates and screws in her knees causes her leg muscles to get stiff. Her hips will often go out causing her to compensate for weight bearing into the shoulders, which causes her to have a mid body sway when she walks. So to keep her moving pain free she gets regular Animal Bowen Therapy(ABT) treatments. Bowens’ unique and quick acting movements allow for some of the most profound and immediate healing there is. It will then continue to offer benefits for 4-7 days following an appointment, with results that can last for weeks. In the beginning of this video you can see Roxy walking through the house. Her back end is stiff and her knees hardly bend, it looks as if she is walking on stilts, and she is moving a bit more slowly as well. Watch how she moves through the second half of the video outside. observe how much the movement in her legs and hips as well as the bend in her knee joints has improved. She has a little more bounce to her step and her mid body sway is gone! These videos were taken only 20 Minutes apart!
