DXE Edmonton DXE Edmonton is one of many chapters world wide, doing peaceful disruptions to speak out for animals.

The aim of our actions is to shake up what is considered 'normal', to initiate discussion and awareness about what is happening to ALL animals. Direct Action Everywhere's mission is to empower activists to take strong and confident action wherever animals are being denigrated, enslaved, or killed and create a world where animal liberation is a reality. We use creative nonviolent protest to tell the animals' story. As a culture, we must open our eyes to the violence that is happening behind closed doors everywhere. We must open our eyes to the common feelings that all animals feel, the common fears that we all fear. After YOU have opened your eyes, help us make a better world by opening the eyes of those around you to our mission to create a between and different sort of world: A peaceful and beautiful world where the animals are liberated.

✊🐾 JOIN THE ANIMAL JUSTICE ACTION TEAM! 🐾✊

Are you looking for a way to turn your compassion for animals into meaningful ACTION?

I’m proud to be a Mobilization Lead with the Animal Justice Action Team—a nationwide network of animal advocates taking strategic, high-impact actions to create real change for animals across Canada. 🇨🇦💚

Being part of this team gives me the opportunity to help create the change I want to see in the world. Instead of simply wishing things were different for animals, we can come together, speak up, take action, and make a difference.

Whether you're an experienced activist or you've never taken action before, YOU can be part of this movement. Every voice matters, and the more of us who stand together, the stronger we become. ✊

If you care about animals and want to help build a kinder, more compassionate future, I encourage you to join us!

🐾 Take action.
🐾 Raise your voice.
🐾 Stand up for animals.
🐾 Be part of the change.

Sign up today and join the Animal Justice Action Team! ⬇️

Yesterday was our First Disruption at La Petite Iza! We were nervous, a bit messy and uncoordinated at times, however we accomplished our goal of a Disruption.
It went just like all the disruptions in the States and other places. The old drunk white men decide to protect the poor servers from the disruptions.
Even the female manager put her hands on me. However I had a fabulous bodyguard and every one was on guard protecting my face ;-) and trying to get the message of Foie Gras out. Its not as easy as Animal Activism Collective make it look!
I have to try this method, I have to see if it works!
Thank you to all the activists that are coming out and supporting me in this extremely important campaign!
Who else is going to join us?

And so it begins! Today we quietly let the Management of La Petite Iza that we will annoy the crap outta them and make their business days and nights a little louder.
While all the other animals on their menu deserve to be removed from the menu as well, this one is not consumed by the vast majority of Edmontonians. It is easier for the customer to support verses the cow or the chicken who is suffering. So we will try are hardest over the next year to get this item removed from their menu.
Where once she said.she vated about the poor ducks, tonight she said she did mot care. Who is she really?
If you want to help get this removed from the menu, please email ir call the restaurant and let them know how you feel.

Please Call today if you can. If you believe the 8 beagles should be returned after tasting freedom for the first time EVER, feeling the rain on their face for the first time.....feeling true compassion for the first time. How cruel.....
Gary Yourofsky was there and has a number of lives you can watch as well as Unchainedtv, Animal Activism Collective and others I am not aware of.
Everyone involved in this action are heroes. For those individuals in white coats, willing to risk their freedom for these abused dogs, there are no words. They did what was necessary. No one else was helping these poor dogs.
The Police were protecting the abusers. How they can sleep at night knowing they took those dogs out of the hands of the rescuers and back into the torture chamber known as Ridgeland Farms? I hope they never sleep again. I agree with Gary on this one.

From Suzanne Gates with Direct Action Everywhere - DxE

🔥 These are 15 of the brave animal rescuers who were arrested today for rescuing dogs from animal experimentation. Multiple others are still waiting to be booked.

Our jail support team has spoken with some of them, including Wayne. They say the rescuers are in good spirits but concerned about the safety of the animals.

TAKE ACTION: Call the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and ask them to return the 8 rescued beagles taken from the arms of activists who were carrying them to safety.
