This heat wave does not slow farmers down. Don't forget to check on your animals and stay hydrated 🥵

With the help of family, we got all our hay for the winter procured and moved this week.

Shout out to Stein Hay Sales for the square bales.
Anyone else needing good quality horse hay, round or squares look them up just outside of Barrhead.

Pro tip
Use boards with 12" spikes to lock in the top outside bales together when strapping them down.
Works likes a dream and no worry about loosing bales down the highway

Aileena is up for sale.
Coming 3 yr old Fjord cross Belgian mare.

This pretty gal is something else. She has a mix of sweet and spunky yet she chill. Having had her since she was 8 days old -and yes we started desensitized her right away- we have watched this cute filly turn into a beautiful mare.

We have done continuous ground work. She leads but occasionally needs to be reminded about giving space. Picks feet up nicely for farrier. Trailers nice and calmly. Ponies behind the other horses. Has been saddled but no weight.

Aileena was scheduled to go for training under the saddle this summer but due to unforeseen circumstances we are putting her up for sale instead.

Looking for a good home for our girl.

Registration is now open for our 4th annual Hustle for Hope 5K! Grab some friends and family, pick a time and place, or attend one of our in-person events to share support, awareness, and advocacy for children and families impacted by HIE.

OUR 5K IS YOUR WAY:
➡️ Run, walk, or roll at your pace and convenience or at a more structured time. The race can be completed anytime from April 1st through May 31st. Consider our additional virtual events on the Peloton Tread and Bike.
➡️ We encourage our families and community, NICUs, PICUs, and other partners to show your support for the global HIE community, and we are here to help make it successful.

IN-PERSON EVENTS:
➡️ Look to see if one of our in-person events is taking place in a city or state near you! Thanks to our Hustle Hosts, this is a great opportunity to meet and build connections with other community members.

REGISTRATION COST:
➡️ Register anytime between February 15th and April 15th, but take advantage of early registration fees.
📌 Early registration cost [February 15th - March 15th]: $25
📌 Registration cost [March 16th - April 15th]: $30

RACE PACKETS:
➡️ Each registrant will receive a finisher medal, race bib, and additional swag. Consider adding a Hustle for Hope 5K race shirt at sign-up for an additional $20.
➡️ The earlier you register, the sooner you will receive your race packet:
📌 Register by March 15th, and your race packet will be mailed by April 1st.
📌Register between March 16th and April 15th, and your race packet will be mailed as quickly as possible!
📌Please note that race materials are not guaranteed for registrations that take place in the same week as the scheduled event.

Look out for future posts that will guide you on creating teams, fundraising, and making donations. We plan on making this 2024 Hustle for Hope our most impactful one, yet!
