See the shape of this poor dog's feet, legs, hips and back? This is from leaving their nails too long. I just do not understand why everyone thinks it's no big deal.
Do you leave your toe nails untrimmed for 3 or 4 months? Do you let them bang into the toes of your shoes until they hurt? No, you don't. But you don't seem to be able to grasp that your dog's nails clicking and banging on the floor, every step they take, hurts like hell. Drives me nuts!

I will be having knee replacement surgery on Oct 2nd so I will be trying to get everyone done before that.
I have a colleague, Tamara at Furkids Day Spa in Cottam who will be helping me while I'm off so if I can't get you in before Oct 2nd, I'll give you her contact info. I'm going to be completely off for at least 4 weeks. After that, I will let you know.

I miss my Big Dog. This house feels empty without him. I'm so sad.
He went peacefully and has been laid to rest in our yard. It's going to take some getting used to, not catering to his every wish. He was one of a kind, that Schneidee Poo Dawg.
I want to thank everyone for the love and support. It really does help. 💙

This pretty little girl is needing a home. She is a very affectionate and playful kitten approx 5-6 months old.
She was thrown from a vehicle on Marentette. My client was behind the vehicle and quickly rescued her. Unfortunately they did not get vehicle ID. She was very skinny and hungry but thank goodness, not seriously injured. She is being looked after and has had a flea treatment to be sure she's flea free. Is anyone interested in giving this friendly girl a good indoor home?

Lincoln is a soon-to-be 6-year old Husky/Shepherd mix who is smart, energetic, and loves to be around and with people.
He loves attention and pets/scratches from just about anyone. He's an avid stick collector and loves to go on long walks to find the best one. He thrives in cool/cold weather and his favorite thing to do is to run in a big open field.
He tends to prefer smaller or very passive dogs in interactions. He tends to get nervous and sometimes defensive with larger dogs who get in his space or play rough.
He's trained with basic commands and is naturally very smart. He is not a crate dog; prefers to have freedom. He has never shown any destructive behaviors when left alone.
He interacts well with children/young kids but he may be more suited for older kids who are much more predictable.
He's very healthy and goes for regular vet appointments and grooming. He does tend to develop itchiness near the end of summer which can lead to a lot of licking.
We're looking for a family who will give him lots of love and attention because he deserves it! 💜

BUMPING A POST

Scammers use pics of injured dogs or children looking for their parents and ask you to “bump” the post.

What does this mean??

When you share this post with all your FB friends, it allows the scammer access to your FB friends and their personal info. The scammer then changes the post to an ad for a house for sale or a product for sale in an effort to scam ppl out of their money. They also get personal info about your friends. Many ppl have their birth date on line as well as other personal info, pictures of their children, homes, cars, where they live etc.

Many people share these posts because they assume their FB friend, who shared the post, must know the post is true. Always click on the original poster’s profile and typically it’ll be someone whose page only has these types of posts, making it suspicious.

In an effort to keep your friends safe, please don’t share these posts. They are never true and they can be damaging.
