Spring is in the air and so is the smell of skunk. (In some places anyway.) We all keep our pets protected but its inevitable, if they're outside, especially at night - they're bound to get sprayed.
The trick to removing the stench is to rub the oils off before adding water. Keep a stack of old towels in the garage or somewhere easily accessible to rub the oils off before you add water or let them in the house.
