All creations are made by hand from start to finish by one woman with a passion for the extraordinary. My name is Davida and I am the creator of Davida's Designs. I have been making quality items for many years now and on the advice of many of my customers, family and friends have decided to open Davida's Designs online to show more people what I do. My first love is spinning fibres from all diffe
rent sources including qiviut, llama, sheep & dog hair. My hand spun and hand knitted items have been sold in upscale boutiques in Banff, Canada. My repertoire includes knitting, quilting, fabric & rope pottery/baskets & beaded/knitted evening bags. Much to my surprise, my beaded evening bags were discovered by a local First Nations group and I now have very loyal customers who custom order for their dress and formal events. Not to toot my own horn but I have won numerous awards for my work in Edmonton (Edmonton Farm Fair), Calgary (Calgary Stampede) & other various communities within Alberta over the years.
