After a long wait, here's a sneak peek of the newborns, born on May 7th in the early hours of the morning. We're thrilled to have welcomed ten new little lives into the world, although unfortunately, one passed away yesterday. However, the remaining nine babies are thriving!

Today is Fun Fact Friday!

The fun fact of the day:

Did you know that ragdolls have an above-average lifespan? An indoor ragdoll kitty can live up to 15-20+ years! While outdoors, their lifespan can be shortened by environmental factors.

Fear not though! Our fluffy friends are happiest while snuggling up where their people are or munching on their favorite snacks🥩 So keep our kitties inside where they prefer to be and you'll get to play with your companion (your new partner in crime) for a long time! 😻

This week has been so busy for us! So far we have four of the 5 kittens at their new homes, and they are adjusting wonderfully!

Bane is the last of his siblings to go to his new home, and his new mama couldn't be more excited to meet her little guy! We'll have so many things to do before he goes on the long journey from Edmonton to Toronto, but we know that he'll do amazing and will love his new big sister Persie😻😻 more updates on how the kittens are transitioning in their new homes, and of course, introduce our new sire, Biggs (aka Biggsie) and follow along on his transition!

Happy Monday!

This week is such a busy one for us at Dreamy Dolls! All of our kittens are ready to go to their new homes this week and will be travelling all over the province and beyond. 🚙✈️

With that being said, did you know that Ragdolls, like many of us, don’t enjoy being out of their comfort zones? So, while travelling or transporting your feline friends here are some helpful tips to remember:

1. Make sure their cage is comfortable and safe for them to be in. It helps if they have a blanket, or toy with familiar smells. If flying, always put your cat in a rigid plastic crate with enough room for them to be able to lay down, and turn around.

2. Feed your kitty some snacks periodically to keep them occupied and distracted from being in an unfamiliar place. 🤤🍣

3. Keep your car at a comfortable temperature. I’m sure we all know what it’s like to feel too hot or too cold on a long journey in the car. Unlike us though, they can’t reach for the dial or tell us that they are uncomfortable. So, please be mindful of how our feline friends may be feeling! ❄️🔥

Tortoise travel isn’t advised 🚫🐢😝

Today we introduce Chewie’s mini (and biggest torment), Obi!

Obi is very similar to his dad in many ways aside from his looks, he loves napping with his uncle Kylo, prefers wet food over dry food. Unlike his siblings, and loves playing the piano!

Obi is adventurous and is the most snuggly, loveable little guy. He is the type of kitten that will climb up your legs just to snooze on your shoulder, and is always happiest as long as he’s tucked into someone’s arms and is getting a belly rub.

He will definitely be missed here at Dreamy Dolls, and we’re so incredibly happy to know that he will be going to a home that will love him and spoil him. We know that he will fit in well with his new siblings, and we hope that he has the time of his life at his new home!

Where there's a Wicket, there's almost always Bane close behind him!

Bane is a playful, curious little guy. He is always the one who will follow you around the house while "singing the songs of his people". While he may not be the most snuggly cat, he is the perfect kitten for taking on road trips (which is perfect for him as he is going on a plane adventure to be with his new mama in Toronto).

Bane is wise beyond his years, or so he thinks with his adorably serious face. He will be missed dearly here at Dreamy Dolls however, we know that he will make the best companion for his new sister Persie like he is with his brother and best friend, Wicket.

Meet Wicket!

He is an eight week old blue lynx point, and is the most energetic kitten here at Dreamy Dolls and is a bundle of fun. He is our biggest escape artists and you can always count on him when you need a laugh (or want to get into some trouble) Wicket is your partner in crime!

He has a twin brother named Bane and they’re without a doubt two peas in a pod🫛 so much so, that they were both adopted by sisters! This little dude may be tiny right now but, he is so full of personality!

Wicket is the most food motivated, and is always the first to come for breakfast and dinner! He’ll definitely be missed here at Dreamy Dolls but he’s off to so many adventures with his new parents and will be sure to always keep them on their toes!

Third up in the meet the Dreamy Dolls kittens we have Ashoka.

Ashoka is an eight week old cream and white bi colour, and is as dreamy and sweet as you can imagine a ragdoll to be!

She is from Mia’s first litter and is our second queen (to be). Ashoka is an adventurous bundle of energy! She spends most of her days learning how to climb, looking out the window watching the snow falling, and tormenting her brothers and sister.

Her favourite type of food is Now Fresh kitten food and loves the taste of the Arcana lamb most of all! She is the twin to Obi and shares not only her father’s looks, but his mild tempered nature as well.

We’re all so excited to see what beautiful kittens she’ll have in the future. but for now, we’ll enjoy her kitten days 🥰

Next up for our meeting the kitties of Dreamy Dolls we have our litter’s father Mr Chewie!

He is our largest cat by far and definitely the most distinguished gentleman. Chewie spends most of his day in his favourite places, on his glass table beside mom, or snuggled up, laying on dad. He is the definition of calm before the storm! With his laid back demeanour, with huge bursts of energy through the day as he plays with his babies he’s the sweetest boy.

Unfortunately, he’s now a house cat and isn’t viable for siring more kittens, but with that, he’ll always be the best mentor for future litters to come!

Let’s meet the kitties of Dreamy Dolls!

First up, with have our Queen Mia. 🤩👑

She is a 19 month old Lilac Ragdoll who had recently had her first litter December 14th 2023.

She is laid back, affectionate and nurturing to her six babies! She’s not afraid to be vocal when she needs something or wants her treats. Mia spends most of her days curled up at her favourite spot by the door, enjoying the cool floor and the front runner. When she’s not snoozing, she’s sitting back watching her kittens play and grow! We are so proud of our girl!

Late summer we’re planning on breeding her with our new sire, Whiskey. So, mark your calendars, prebook ,and stay tuned for more kitties!

Let's meet the kittens!🐈‍⬛

Here at Dreamy Dolls, we're proud breeders and caretakers of six beautiful kittens. During this litter, we had the delightful pleasure of caring for Mia's four boys and two girls. As we're huge Star Wars fans, all of the kittens have been named in honour of the series.

We have our first pair of twins; Obi and Ashoka. Obi is a bicolour chocolate kitten, while his sister Ashoka is a cream bicolour with these two having the biggest personalities.

Our second set of twins are Wicket and Bane, both are blue lynx points and are our biggest adventurers!

Last but not least; We have our last set of twins Luke and Leia. they're white-mitted with solid cream and are the cuddliest of the bunch🥰

All of these kittens have found wonderful, loving homes all around Alberta and Ontario, and we are so thrilled for our upcoming litters with our new sire! Stay tuned to learn more about each kitten from our past litter and to learn more about their parents!

Hello!

I’m so proud to announce that we’re doing a soft launch of Dreamy Dolls Cattery.

My name is Haley and I am a CCA (Canadian Cat Association) registered Ragdoll breeder based out of Fort McMurray, Alberta Canada. I’m passionate and dedicated to raise healthy, ethically bred and beautiful purebred ragdoll kittens from right here in Fort McMurray!

We just found homes for all 5 kittens our very first litter and we’re so proud of our mama!

I’d like to introduce our gorgeous mama miss Mia!

She’s a 19 month old lilac purebred ragdoll. She is sweet, cuddly and nurturing. She has a very mild temperament and is doing well after giving birth to 6 kittens December 14th 2023.

We're hoping for Mia's second litter mid/late summer and her daughter, Ashoka to have her first litter in the new year! So, keep an eye out for announcements and updates!😻🐈
