Received a generous donation of an ottoman today to help Bubs continue to get his bedtime snuggles. Jumping up and down from the bed can further damage the torn ACL, as well as injur the two healthy ligaments keeping his knee functioning or worse - cause a tear in the other ACL.

This was a huge help to maintaining Keji's quality of life while we work towards funding his surgery. And he's decided it's a lovely new bed.

Bottle drive phase 3 begins!

We've successfully raised half of the funds necessary for Keji's TPLO surgery and have finally cleared our garage of the aging bottles. Time to round up the next batch!

Huge thanks to our local Starbucks for their donations, as well as the fine gentlemen at Fort Sask Bottle Depot for taking our counted and uncounted drop offs!

If you've got empties to be rid of, we'd love to take them off your hands. Just shoot us a message to arrange a curbside pick up!

Our first bottle drive was a HUGE success! Keji's account at Fort Sask Veterinary is now holding $900!!

Thank you so much to everyone who sent cash, saved bottles and contributed in every way.

We will be continuing with the bottle drive this upcoming Thursday & Friday so just drop us a message to arrange your pick up!

Our family cannot accurately express our appreciation for this generosity. The task this weekend will be getting all of this counted up and delivered to the bottle depot.

Hello Keji Supporters!

While we work to accrue the funds for Keji's surgery, we are working to make our home more orthopedically sound for him.

We are searching for 2 sets of pet stairs and a pet ramp suitable for an 82 lb master of snuggles. Please let us know if you have any leads 🐾

A very kind benefactor has provided a donation of frozen chocolate chip cookie dough to help us get a little closer to getting our boy back to taking us for walks.

What: 1 QT pails of frozen chocolate chip cookie dough to be baked at your leisure

Price: $15 each, with 100% of proceeds going to Keji's TPLO surgery costs

Delivery will be available on Monday, late afternoon/evening.

We're limited on storage space so are taking as many pre-orders as possible! Drop us a line to reserve your pail 💕

Meet Keji, affectionately known as our Bubba.

Keji is a 6 year old husky/pitbull mix with a big personality, a kind disposition and a sweet soul.

Keji came into our family in 2015 and was named for Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia. He is our cuddle buddy, our walking buddy, our front window sentinel, our treat fiend.

To say we love this dog is a massive understatement.

Today, June 16/22, Keji was diagnosed with a torn ACL. Keji is a healthy dog with many years of life ahead of him with appropriate Veterinary treatment. Sadly, our pet insurance will not cover this procedure.

We are coming to our friends, family and community to ask your help in raising the funds necessary for Keji's surgery.

TPLO surgery will be performed by Dr Monica Boznyak at Fort Saskatachewan Veterinary Clinic.

Please give us a follow and support this road to giving our boy a long, healthy, happy life.
