This applies to anything your doing with horses. Their hearing is so strong they can hear a heartbeat 6’ away learning how to control your feel when your working with animals especially horses will improve your connection and ability to communicate with a horse,wether it’s a bronc a c**t or a old finished horse!
The ability to feel and allow to be felt is something I believe very strongly in.
working around these horses is my passion and I’m extremely proud to be able to offer my c**t starting program all the way to making solid finished horses to the public.
Feel is so important. And allowing the horse to feel your confidence and calmness will over a matter of time create the mentality “well he’s not freaking out so I guess I don’t have anything to worry about” this exact mentality is the calm In the storm creating confident working horses and trail horses Comes from within!

This is very valuable peice of information! I’ve only had to cut one halter in my life because of a tangle a horse had gotten into and horse was okay but due to the knot being tied incorrectly,I couldn’t untie the halter after the lead had been untied.

Why do I swear by Csi pads? Here’s why…
Also Here’s a  Great conversation piece
We’re gonna talk about saddle pads and my personal experience About saddle Pads now I’ve used everything From gel pads to Thick felt pads now the Csi saddle pad I was introduced too in 2015.. and I was sold. Me and 11 friends went to the mountains in the spring with horses all equally out of shape, now I had a 1” thick 5 star pad Aswell as another friend.. all the others out of 12 people had these Csi pads after the first day and roughly 30 miles in the mountains our felt padded horses were sore equally from withers to the hip running fingers along the back. both horses.. with proper fitting saddles and thick felt pads. I thought okay we rode too much for our horses fitness levels and the horses with Csi pads ALL TEN HORSES weren’t sore except for a loonie sized spot above their pelvis I assumed from all the climbing and dropping down we did from that day as we were mostly bush wacking…
These horses all two weeks did not get sore.
Anyways the next day I borrowed a pad gave my one horse a break cause he was sore from the previous first day.. and used the Csi pad on my other horse. She was not sore except for the dollar sized spots as the other horses that went away couple days in as the horses got used to the work load and got muscled up…
Fast forward 8 years I now own 8 Csi saddle pads and use them on all my competing horses, sale horses and c**ts. I have yet to find a horse get a sore back from riding.. keeping the weight dispersed from front to back Aswell as weight OFF the spine! Fantastic I think Aswell they have the proof to back up their product. At trade shows they have a press putting out pin point pressure where a ill fitting saddle could pinch your horse… where gel pads the gel actually moved away from the pressure!! Felt pads do better than the gel but nothing comes close to the Csi pads protective shield for your horses back!!
So here’s the conversation peice what do you use for a saddle pad and why? Also if you didn’t know about a product that could protect your horses back would you switch?
